Borge reaches the R16 with ease - rattling off wins by Fall (2:22), TF (23-7) and MD (14-1).

Super 32 ain't so super this year...dang27 guys seeded to place aren't there so 24% of the projected placers

Probably a combination of the change in recruiting rules most JR are committed .And with the change with RTCs the top guys all spent the summer living on college campuses training and some need a break. The ones who aren't sure are gonna register anyway since you gotta do it a month out to get a spot . That's why you see so many weight changes because you register so far out

None of them have even wrestled a match in a iowa singlet yet I get the frustration but their high school kids who have done very well so far its not like they chose iowa over Davidson or George mason

A little Borge highlight from today’s action:
Borge looked really good today; can scramble, score from neutral, and he's getting a lot of backs. Youngblut and Regan getting a lot of backs too. Xavier Chavez, who has virtually no recent video of him on YouTube so this is the first real look I've gotten on him, is pretty solid. He knows what he's doing in there. Word still hasn't gotten around enough DON'T TAKE DOWN ON SHAMUS REGAN.

After falling 3-2 in the quarters, Shamus Regan lost 7-4 (SV) in his first consi match and is eliminated.

Yep - has scored 16, 17 and 13 points in his consi matches thus far.
Since he is a JR, we have to wait to recruit him. I’d be shocked if don’t recruit him, Heeg, Staples, or any other recruits between 165-184.
Especially with him being IZZY Style.

Youngblut beats Corbin from PA. Solid win. Was able to get off bottom twice...Corbin is very tough on top. Corbin rode him all of the 3rd but DY got out in the last few seconds...almost reversed him. Despite getting rode, his gas tank looked good in OT. Got out real quick in rideouts and was able to ride Corbin for the win.
Yeah, said it was an “all panther final” since his opponent is Dean Anderson, UNI commit
