There's no ulterior motive. It's right there in my post out in the open. Based on your posts here, I don't like you. Now that that's cleared up carry on rockchalk.
The more I think about it, the more I'm thinking Kansas might actually be better next year than they were this year.
Jackson is a much better player and will be more consistent than Selden. I think Bragg will be a very capable replacement for Ellis - I thought he looked very promising at times last year.
Meanwhile, Mason, Graham, Lucas will all be a year older and provide veteran leadership. If Svi is back, then Svi, Vick, Azubuike will be a decent if fairly thin bench.

Just curious, but why would Self not advise him to at least go the NBA combine and get feedback? There is nothing to lose.

Yeah I'm not really sure on that. I would think it would be worth a shot but if you think about it Svi is actually younger than Josh Jackson. Maybe it had something to do with that, like come in and battle at practice against a guaranteed NBA player, get stronger and then show them what you got? I guess?
Svi can and has played the 1,2,3 and 4 oddly enough so he'll get a lot of minutes next year. But you're right I'm not sure why it would hurt to check it out.
I'm the person that banned your account. Did so after considering how your post are taken by the members here and after reading a report on your account. Whether you mean to or not you've come across as condescending and not really here to do much other than mix it up. The fans here don't mind rival fans posting (neither do we) but I think it's best for you take a break from here for a while. Nothing personal.
Your call, and I don't have the ability to really look at his history in depth, but I haven't noticed anything ban-worthy. I like that our site gives way more latitude to other fans than other sites. But like I said, I haven't paid enough attention to really know if it was justified. Just putting in my .02c.
If only RC Texas would learn that Kansas can't hold UK's jock strap. He's fighting it, when he just needs to accept that his team isn't as good as ours.
I would love to offer you a suggestion - but there are a few on this board that for some reason like to tolerate you - so out of respect for them I will not roast you.
That said - the guy explaining the passive aggressive approach to your posting (and likely in your overall life) is spot on. Seek help because it is incredibly annoying - and when compounded with your condescending remarks - makes you unbearable. I suspect no one on the KU boards really care for your approach or remarks - so you be bored and try to mix it up over here.
Lastly - it's like sitting behind the girl in grade school - pulling on her pony tail - poking and prodding - until she finally swings around in her seat and she slaps the bird crap out of you - and then you act shocked and don't understand why. Dear Struggler, with your 158 posts on RR making you the expert on all things UK board posting, let me be the first to thank you for giving me a roadmap on how to avoid the ire of Kentucky fans who I often don't agree with. I absolutely need help on how to post and the method of my posting is certainly consistent on every board I visit. I had assumed that I was unable to match the aggression demonstrated to me by some fans and I feel that I have inadvertently become passive aggressive in my dismissing of dumb opinions and erroneous facts.
I apologize from the bottom of my heart and look to fix myself in life sooner rather than later. I definitely had no idea this was a Kentucky board but thank you for taking the time to point this out. I'm sure if I respond to every criticism matching the aggression with my own aggression and dropping all passive tendencies by peppering my comments with insults and rage I will surely grow in the estimation of Kentucky fans and definitely won't create more enemies and quickly get banned.

One of our mods in the thread just flat out said fans from other teams have to tread lightly, but he can be called virtually any name under the sun and attacked personally with impunity.
How else is he going to be able to respond? I think the personal attacks and constant childish complaints about visitors around here are some of the dumbest people. When you can't attack the issue, attack the person.
It's not my board, but at least one mod has fully admitted there's a double standard. So, to complain about passive aggressive behavior is on the board for allowing free reign to go after one side and the other to walk on eggshells.
If RR wants to be an echo chamber of everyone pumping each other full of sunshine and tolerating the minimum outside perspective, then there being a different set of rules for people is why you end up with passive aggressive responses to some members who are otherwise out of line.
Get lost. You're not even a UK fan He's a KU fan that hangs out on the UK board day and night, by his own admission. THAT in itself is passive agressive, no matter what he says.

It really has gotten bad the past few years. I've visited this board probably longer than most of the current posters. I rarely comment on things because i know there is a limit on how you can respond to some of the out & out lies an misinformation that when told often enough on this board it becomes the "truth".
The reason why i do visit this board for so long is because i love college basketball an Kentucky has some of the most passionate fans out there, both the good & the bad.
