‘Bama on line 2…Stein ain’t leave for another college job
I agree though could ultimately create a scenario to where UK has to dramatically increase his pay, last time this happed, didn’t work out well…Stein will NOT leave for another college job. He can be the football king here and get all the resources he wants!
Now...If and when the nfl comes calling one day, then there could be some concern.
Other than that, not worried about any other school.
True.. But I get the sense the nil donors are all in on Stein.I agree though could ultimately create a scenario to where UK has to dramatically increase his pay, last time this happed, didn’t work out well…
I'm fixing to cancel my email account if they keep doing this.Yahoo should be embarrassed.
Lol if that were to happen it would mean hes taken UK to the national championship game‘Bama on line 2…
Yup remember when they jumped for Charlie strongNever say never but I have a hard time believing any football blue blood swoops in to steal a first year head coach, 7 games into his head coaching career. Maybe later, but not yet. At least, not with some crazy money/offer.
I love what we've seen so far but frankly, he isn't a proven coach here yet...much less Texas.
Agree , his next stop is the NFL.Stein ain’t leave for another college job
Always showing your undying loyalty to Pope, but then you say garbage like this.Texas had an NIL budget of $41M for football alone. Kentuckys football and basketball COMBINED total was $40M. Stein makes $5.5M per year. Sark makes $10.8M per. Kroger holds 61,000. DK Royal holds 100K plus. Plus recruiting base in Texas. I want and hope that Stein stays, but to say that its a given that he says no because he is from here is nonsense IMO
Garbage? Point out one thing I said in there that isn't a fact. Wanting Stein to stay is one thing, burying your head in the sand and pretending twice the paycheck, twice the NIL budget, nearly twice the stadium capacity, better football facilities by a mile and a better recruiting base would not be enticing for anyone make your logic that of a six year old. Its the equivalent of saying someone coaching basketball in their home state would never leave if they were offered Kentuckys basketball job. Grow upAlways showing your undying loyalty to Pope, but then you say garbage like this.
I don't think Stein is going any where for a few years.
You just know that it had to be someone here.Idiots seriously running with a rumor from some nobody with 50 followers on Twitter.
Stein bleeds blue. So blue that I think he'd walk away from coaching before he went somewhere else.Garbage? Point out one thing I said in there that isn't a fact. Hope you're right. Seriously doubt itStein bleeds blue. So blue that I think he'd walk away from coaching before he went somewhere else.
There’s no reason to believe he would leave for a college job. Zero.Hope you're right. Seriously doubt it
He had 10 followers when he posted that. Now he's got 94 followers so he got what he wanted with the post.Idiots seriously running with a rumor from some nobody with 50 followers on Twitter.
What?
Well the “reporters” these days probably use AI to search for stories and they don’t fact check. They are activists first and foremost who got a now worthless degree that isn’t taught the way it should be anymore I’m sure. Just like all these stories with unnamed sources. They run with them and I bet they couldn’t corroborate 90% of them if challenged.Yahoo should be embarrassed.
He's doing great but, "proven he can win big" might be a tad much. He’s already proven he can win big at UK. Nothing will hold him back including money. He won’t necessarily have Ohio St money but his NIL budget will grow and he will be working with a top 15-20, at least, NIL soon.
Also…UK has already shown they will pay a lot of money to a football coach who was mediocre. They will pay even more to one who is great
Has stein ever made any overtures about the NFL? Everyone always says his next step is the NFL but Ive never seen him say anything to suggest this.Agree , his next stop is the NFL.
well, not this soon. But it's foolish to act like he never would. We don't know what is true goals are.He ain't leaving uk for another college..
And please share how you know this. Proof. Oh you cant. Move on troll. What?
On the Will Stein note, I expect Stein to be Texas's #1 target as well. The school has put out feelers to Lanning, Cristobal, Chesney and Stein. Stein so far is the only one to display real interest in the job. Things could move quickly in Austin."
I do not see it a real possibility. Why leave a place (home) paying very well. I he stays competitive he can stay forever. Even 7-5 gets a contract renewal.
in Texas, you are either playing for the playoffs or looking for a new job..
UK is going to dramatically increase Stein‘s salary already. I’ll guess to $8M for 2027.I agree though could ultimately create a scenario to where UK has to dramatically increase his pay, last time this happed, didn’t work out well…
