Flashbacks to the Dez catch against the Packers which had way more of an argument than that. But it’s the rule.
Yup Cowboys fans know how that bulls*t rule can cost you a game more than any other fan base.

Honestly by the catch rule it looked like the right call. Had he just gone to the ground instead of stretching it out he would have been fine.
If that is the rule, the rule sucks. He caught the ball with his hand and pull it in to his gut (catch at that point) before extending it it again to cross the goal line. That is when he lost the grasp.
But when he was on Stew's side he was a good guy. Not a Tomlin fan but I still don't get that somehow the Steelers are the enemy of WVU. If anything, the Steelers help us more than help sPitt.
Catch football move Down, How is that not a catch ?He did not complete the catch to the ground. I don’t agree with it but that’s the rules.
Lol wut
******** on the NFL. I am never watching another **** game in this League ever. This is just ******** to overrule that call.
This was my problem with the call. Catch, down to a knee, pivot, and make a football move for the goal line. No idea how that wasn't a td.The NFL has to fix the rule on that one. He made a football move thus it is a reception. End of story.
Honestly, I thought that rule applied to someone catching the ball and going straight to the ground. He caught the ball went to his knees...pivoted and lunged, which to me is a football move forward. I thought it was a catch and a fumble.
Yup. Hated the call on that one also.See the Dez Bryant play. He caught it over his right shoulder, switched the ball to his left hand, took two steps and lunged towards the goal line with the ball stretched out in his left hand and the ball moves when he hit the ground and it was over turned. Very similar play here. The rule is ridiculous.
Wrong. He was down , ground caused fumble , then he recovered fumble by your explanation.
Yup. Hated the call on that one also.
That was the wrong call too. I’m not biased it’s just what it is.That’s exactly what Dez did and it too was over turned.
******** on the NFL. I am never watching another **** game in this League ever. This is just ******** to overrule that call.
Exactly, Ron...karma is a *****, isn't it?I think the rule is stupid but by rule it was incomplete. How many of you Steeler fans laughed when the Dez Bryant catch against Green Bay in the playoffs was over ruled? Not so funny now. It’s ridiculous how the NFL makes something as simple as a catch so complicated.
That was the wrong call too. I’m not biased it’s just what it is.
All Sports are becoming a Joke . A bunch of weekend warriors controlling multi million dollar athletes. The NFL is becoming a joke. The Cowboys went over 8 games without a single holding call against the opposition despite our guys getting tackled at times. Officiating is a joke and there are no repercussions for these guys. As much money as the league is bringing in there’s no reason not to have full time officials who aren’t all AARP members. They need to watch tape and go to clinics and be tested during the off season. And be suspended and fired when they miss calls.
That was the wrong call too. I’m not biased it’s just what it is.
Bob Kraft runs that league.******** on the NFL. I am never watching another **** game in this League ever. This is just ******** to overrule that call.
You mean like this one...http://thebiglead.com/2010/09/12/calvin-johnson-and-the-going-to-the-ground-rule/Not the wrong call. It's a terrible rule. Both the Dez reception & James reception were catches. The rule needs changed.
But it is the wrong call, he had possession made a football move and crossed the plane of the goal line. That is the rule. Not the wrong call. It's a terrible rule. Both the Dez reception & James reception were catches. The rule needs changed.
He had possession when his knee hit which is a catch his second move was into the end zone where he lost possession after scoring but I’m not a refHonestly, I thought that rule applied to someone catching the ball and going straight to the ground. He caught the ball went to his knees...pivoted and lunged, which to me is a football move forward. I thought it was a catch and a fumble.
I’m not saying I agree with it. But by the “rule” it was the right call.

Wrong . He completed the catch . Crossed the plane ( which is a TD ) It’s the same as a running back diving and the ball moves after a TD is scored. You obviously are clueless. You have to maintain control of the ball through hitting the ground, period. By rule, its incomplete

Read the part where he became a runner Dumb F@ck.NFL Rules - What is a Reception? Hope this helps you understand, by I highly doubt it.

You have to read the whole rule. You can’t stop when it benefits you. He caught the ball and made a football move , which makes him a runner, Read through your little football for dummies link and you’ll get to it.Shew, hope this helps. You look extremely stupid arguing this.
Patriots vs Steelers: NFL explains why they overturned Jesse James’ touchdown at the end of the game - Pats Pulpit

I don’t have a dog in the fight, but it was the wrong call by rule. It’s really sad when WVU “fans” get more defensive and their panties in a wad over their NFL allegiances than they ever would for WVU.
I don`t like the call being reversed on the play...I think the Steelers got robbed...But throwing a INT on the next play is down right Seattle in the Super Bowl with Brady winning that game with a freakin gift also....One lucky MF......
No it wasn’t. Everyone who isn’t a Steeler fan knows it was the right call, even if the rule sucks.I don’t have a dog in the fight, but it was the wrong call by rule.
