Thisexactly what they should be doing. You keep Purdue guessing
Its a statement that repeats what is already known but fails to say the severity of the injury and what the treatment will be.Its deliberately vague to make Purdue wondering if Harper will play.“Day to day” sounds promising.
Usually not especially with HIPPA remember every football injury is either lower body or upper body with no timetable ever mentionedSurprised they even put out a statement like this. Is this normal? Lol
I don't get the whole HIPPA thing.Usually not especially with HIPPA remember every football injury is either lower body or upper body with no timetable ever mentioned
HIPAA... You work in Healthcare unless the screen name isn't true... come on budUsually not especially with HIPPA remember every football injury is either lower body or upper body with no timetable ever mentioned
"He has a hand, I don't have much detail other than that. We'll have to evaluate it and if he can go, he'll go"I called Coach Schiano last night to check in on Ron's status. His response was vague, all he said was "Well... he's got a hand." I felt blessed that he threw in the "Well..."

These injury updates being vague isn't bc of HIPAA. It's about teams trying to gain a competitive advantage by limiting the opposition's knowledge for preparation.
Whenever there is a serious injury and surgery etc that information is always shared so it's not about privacy. Players aren't getting secret ACL surgeries and saying it's a leg injury
