If he says no, you go to Tommy Lloyd. Dude can flat-out coach.
Why? You have no clue what's in his head. Force him to say no.Oh my god people need to stfu about Brad Stevens.
Way to aim highMentioning Brad Stevens on your wish list is a true sign of desperation and also cluelessness. I cringe when I see it.
No. I say that because he isn't going anywhere and never will. I have always thought Indiana was pathetic for bringing up his name. Now shamefully, some of our idiot fans are doing the same.Way to aim high
First off, you shoot for the stars. This is UK basketball. Is it likely he comes, of course he won't. But if you dont try, you never know. You always try.No. I say that because he isn't going anywhere and never will. I have always thought Indiana was pathetic for bringing up his name. Now shamefully, some of our idiot fans are doing the same.
I like Lloyd, too, but AZ is down 10 at the half at home right now, having scored only 27 points. They are playing Wash State.Ooh, Arizona is averaging 87.5pts/game. That sounds fun! It may not be "efficient" enough for others on this board though.
Have you watched what CCC has done to the program. We are desparateMentioning Brad Stevens on your wish list is a true sign of desperation and also cluelessness. I cringe when I see it.
Ewww. Admittedly, I don't know much about him. I'm just looking for anything that actually makes watching UK hoops fun again.I like Lloyd, too, but AZ is down 10 at the half at home right now, having scored only 27 points. They are playing Wash State.
Take off the first two and that is my list as of today. My list goes: Stevens, Donovan, Lloyd, Drew, Oats, Musselman
I remember Cal setting a goal of 80ppg this season. We're going to have to play like Loyola Marymount of the late 80's to reach that now.Ooh, Arizona is averaging 87.5pts/game. That sounds fun! It may not be "efficient" enough for others on this board though.
He would be my choice.Ewww. Admittedly, I don't know much about him. I'm just looking for anything that actually makes watching UK hoops fun again.

Totally agree. The real UK BIG BUCK people that truly care about our program need to get Dwane Casey if it is only an interim to get things back on track. We have to have someone who is one of us that can bring everybody back together with NBA connections (secondarily). Yes Dwayne is in his 60s but he is a fit young 60s. He is respected in the family, he took the fall and was later cleared like we knew he’d be…today’s kids respect him…He is the facilitator of us getting back to where we want to be
Agreed. There is NO WAY Brad Stevens gives a nice, comfy, LOW STRESS job in the NBA to come coach at UK. It's silly to even think along those lines.Oh my god people need to stfu about Brad Stevens.
And the unfortunate truth is it’s not as important in the grand scheme of the basketball world as many UK fans think it is. No one goes from the Celtics, one of the two premier franchises in the best basketball league in the world, to a college gig. This is UK basketball.
I love DC but, much like Stevens why would he walk away from a respected position in the NBA to herd cats in a high stress job like UK? Just don't see it.The real UK BIG BUCK people that truly care about our program need to get Dwane Casey even if it is only an interim to get things back on track. A Mark Few assistant, first head coaching gig was Arizona. That's a pretty big first head-coaching stop and he's doing really well. Might have to trade a little defense to get some more offense. But, the bottom line is winning and he's doing that. Did a lot of international recruiting. What the hell. I'm in. Let's get him! I'll make some calls.

Because he played here. He is a national champion. He greatly cares about his school and program. Secondarily, he knows the NBA. Stevens has NO connection to us. He has no reason to come here.I love DC but, much like Stevens why would he walk away from a respected position in the NBA to herd cats in a high stress job like UK? Just don't see it.
For me it's Drew or Lloyd.
I don't know DC personally. Never met him in fact. But, I have to wonder about his true feelings for the program that allowed him to be scapegoated and essentially blackballed in college athletics for a time. I know he was eventually (and rightfully) cleared but, the damage may have been done.Because he played here. He is a national champion. He greatly cares about his school and program. Secondarily, he knows the NBA. Stevens has NO connection to us. He has no reason to come here.
I cringe when I read dumb comments like yours. Why wouldn't you aim high? Yeah, he will probably sat no, but you've at least gotta make him say no. It's literally the opposite of desperation...Mentioning Brad Stevens on your wish list is a true sign of desperation and also cluelessness. I cringe when I see it.
Funny thing is TB is exactly who I'd expect to be on MB's short list to replace Calipari. Him and Holtmann.I will take Tony Bennett, he wins consistently, very solid bench coach. I know his style is not what we want but I feel he would kill it here.
Let's start with 55 million dollarsIf he says no, you go to Tommy Lloyd. Dude can flat-out coach.
Beard situation is blown out of proportion. He got a raw dealI’m willing to watch the jail cell door for Chris Beard at this point.
Stevens would be a waste of time he isn’t leaving the NBA, the search should start with Scott drew, then Lloyd, musselmanIf he says no, you go to Tommy Lloyd. Dude can flat-out coach.
