For the record, I grew up around Rutgers basketball. My hate for SHU is on the same level as Penn State.St. Peter’s is ***.
You guys rooting for this have absolutely no clue how bad it is for us.
Wow. Jealous are ya? Loser!I don’t get it. I’ve been there. I did a job with my buddy when I was out of work during CoVID and it was literally right outside the campus. Nothing special and zero academic standards for sure based on the student body that we saw coming in and out lol. How the F do they recruit outside of ‘graded don’t matter.” The SEC already does that.
Oh please. A little dramatic are we ? A lower seed has neve made the elite 8 before ? I seem to recall this happening quite a bit. Maybe not a #15 but low seed nonetheless.Wow people are just miserable. St. Peter’s is writing the greatest NCAA tournament Cinderella story in history and the OP has to crap on their campus?! Really?!
Really bad look OP.
You should ditch the snobbery. The school has a noble mission. It’s facilities don’t define them.I don’t get it. I’ve been there. I did a job with my buddy when I was out of work during CoVID and it was literally right outside the campus. But they are hot when it counts.I took a look at their schedule this year. They had a lot of bad losses.
Meh. IDK how many students will be flocking to JC just because they won a few gamesFree publicity. Their enrollment will pop big time. They’ll. Attract better students. I don’t know how much it will be worth but it will be a lot.
Very true. When Seton Hall lost in the finals, the average SAT scores of their applicants increased by more than 100 points the next year.Free publicity. Their enrollment will pop big time. They’ll. Attract better students. I don’t know how much it will be worth but it will be a lot.
Hmm, funny how people see the same thing completely different.zero academic standards for sure based on the student body that we saw coming in and out lol.
In fairness to that poster it’s a mixed student body so probably more class snobbery than racismHmm, funny how people see the same thing completely different.
You see unintelligent kids in this post & I see a racist
Wondering if the attitude would be the same if this was Monmouth or Rider winning all of these games?
This is probably one of the best stories in NCAA tournament history and people here are taking a dump on it.Only in NJ.
Good point, thank you.In fairness to that poster it’s a mixed student body so probably more class snobbery than racism
Fire Pike, hire HollowayLets see..he is heading to coach our rival and played for this rival during a bitter time in the 90s between the 2 schools
Thus enormous amount of attention will be paid to said rival as coach is fawned over
Im Rutgers first
No, a seed thislow has literally never made it this far. There is no disputing this.Oh please. A little dramatic are we ? A lower seed has neve made the elite 8 before ? I seem to recall this happening quite a bit. Maybe not a #15 but low seed nonetheless.
I‘m not sweating it. There’s room for both of us to be good.Lets see..he is heading to coach our rival and played for this rival during a bitter time in the 90s between the 2 schools
Thus enormous amount of attention will be paid to said rival as coach is fawned over
Im Rutgers first
My point was that it’s implied in that post that who ever goes to St Peters ain’tIn fairness to that poster it’s a mixed student body so probably more class snobbery than racism
Yeah but this is done every year. No big deal, lol.No, a seed thislow has literally never made it this far. There is no disputing this..
Wow! Your assessment of the student body reeks of racism.I don’t get it. I’ve been there. I did a job with my buddy when I was out of work during CoVID and it was literally right outside the campus. They had more wins than us right. Were they this good last yearthey this good all this season? Will they be this good next year? I doubt it. But the only thing that matters is they are playing great right now. My point was they did not necessarily out recruit anyone but got a collection of guys that clicked at the right time.
They made Edey, Ivey and William's look like garbage. I give them a ton of credit. If they hit half of their wide open 3's and short puppies they would have won that game by 20It's not lightning they are outplaying everyone and taking them out of their games.
“It’s ok. It’s only Jersey City. Nobody cares.” LolWow! Your assessment of the student body reeks of racism.
The name of this tournament is to catch lightning in a bottle at the right time. They may beWere they this good last year? Were they this good all this season? Will they be this good next year? When was the last time RU and SHU went after the same kid and he went to hall?Because if their coach goes to Seton Hall he will have a huge chip in his back pocket to recruit whoever he wants. A good Seton Hall is not necessarily good for the one school I care about, Rutgers.
If Oike was to leave IFire Pike, hire Holloway![]()

Fully agree. My point was that it’s implied in that post that who ever goes to St Peters ain’tand worthless. I got friends, family, and former students who went/ goes there. That that attitude and shove it.
Oh please. A little dramatic are we ? A lower seed has neve made the elite 8 before ? I seem to recall this happening quite a bit. Maybe not a #15 but low seed nonetheless.
Shaka Smart 2.0Too bad for Holloway the SEC filled all 6 openings. Don't know if he'd have been interested but there's little doubt they could have easily outbid SHU by a lot for his services.
Jesuits used to be about academics and discipline. Now not so much so . St.Peters was a good school IF you were there for learning . I’m happy for them and those players as they move onto Saturday ‘s game. Once Holloway moves into his next job the issue will be his replacement. Shaheen is a Seton Hall guy and it’s good for them. Pike needs to pick it up recruiting wise and I am going to believe he will.I don’t see how this follows at all.
First 15 seed to ever make it full stopOh please. A little dramatic are we ? A lower seed has neve made the elite 8 before ? I seem to recall this happening quite a bit. Maybe not a #15 but low seed nonetheless.
We just gave one of our best coaches ever a huge extension . If we are that worried about seton hall, Holloway, and what St. Peter’s is doing this week ,we have much bigger problems .Lets see..he is heading to coach our rival and played for this rival during a bitter time in the 90s between the 2 schools
Thus enormous amount of attention will be paid to said rival as coach is fawned over
