Did some of these defenders forget that we aren't playing touch-football in the 2nd half?
There would have been a BUNCH more yards AND points by the reds in the first half IF they weren't playing touch football. Jewitt bounced off a tackler in the backfield and gained 5-6 yards earlier in the 3rd quarter. We've had several QBs get touched by a reaching ONE hand that ended a play that would have likely been 6 points. Like it or not, the QB run game is going to still be a big factor.

He is from Millard South seen him play a lot in high school games ..very quick kid..
VERY quick. Thompkins looks good too. Limited snaps but runs tough. Smothers would have just scored on a QB run there IF he wasn't wearing a green jersey.

I won't get excited or disappointed over a practice game but AM looks faster than he ever has. Ya'll are going get your wish of seeing the backup QB sooner than later if AM is running the ball like he has so far.

Yeah if I were Frost, I'd be looking to see if there are any good FCS QBs, or backup SEC QBs, who might be interested in starting in the Big Ten next year.
Do we really trust Frost & Co to bring in a new QB and develop them into an effective asset in 6 months???

He needs to suck it up and be a man if he's going to run it that much. I watched a little bit of the replay of NU vs OSU where Braxton Miller got hurt. Tmart was just horrible at taking a hit. He would kind of go limp and just get clobbered. His throwing mechanics were cringe worthy as well. AM is a big QB. He should be able to dish out some punishment.

Wow, for a minute I thought that little girl with the cornhead and snowcone was spitting chew into the cup.

1 of those incompletions was pass interference on the goal line - a beautiful strike to Betts
Even the INT wasn't a terrible ball. His WR didn't do a geat job of going after that ball. Manning probably takes that one away from the defender. Did Nance do anything today.
