None of the QBs have been particularly impressive. Hopefully the wind has something to do with it.

Haarberg is the future, no doubt about it. I don't know if they would make him the backup this year though. That might fall on Masker. Smothers still scares me. I know he has better stats and all, but hoping he gets better too.

Haarberg shows the same potential that 2am did. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

You guys don’t know what you are watching. It’s a spring game. They are trying stuff out.

1. Toure was a much needed WR transfer pick up
2. AM looks a little quicker
3. Manning has some talent. Work on mind and hands
4. Morrison, Yant and Ervin are good young backs
5. Oliver Martin has great hands. Should have a good year
6. Scott has good balance as a runner. Reliable
7. Back up QBs need some work, but not bad for a spring game

If Haarrberg starts a game this season it will only mean one thing: the 3 other QBs ahead of him are injured and unable to play. I mean, he might make 3rd string by this Fall but if he's playing against a Big Ten team then Nebraska is in trouble. Next year is his opportunity.

Frost is not crazy enough to send a true frosh QB onto the field against a Big Ten defense. You have Spring Scrimmage fever. It happens. Never go full knucklehead and confuse a scrimmage for a real game.

I hope Frost has learned his lesson. Haarberg needs time. Frosh QBs rarely do well in the Big Ten (see e.g. Graham Mertz (WI) Rivals rated 6.0 & ranked No.2 QB prospect. Mertz was 3-3 vs. B10 as a frosh, 1 TD, 5 INTs vs. MN,IA,IU,IN)
