Spring Break, as this is the tail end weekend of PSU's Spring Break

States, as this is the 3-day PIAA State Wrestling Championships, one of the great sporting events

I'm not even a country music fan, but I thought Kelly Clarkson did an amazing job with this Dolly Parton classic, at the 2022 ACM Awards earlier this week:

We were at the awards show on Monday. I agree, she did a great job with that song!

Saturday (3/12) is the birthday of the late Mike Gibbons, the drummer of Badfinger. To celebrate:

Was supposed to see the It Wa 50 Years Ago tour (Rubber Soul & Revolver) tomorrow at Penn’s Peak, but show got rescheduled because someone in the band got COVID ( and not the pending snow storm). Band includes Todd Rundgren, Denny Laine, Christopher Cross, and…Joey Molland. I’ll raise you one Badfinger member for another!

Huh, here are two songs from the Kinks album, Low Budget 1979. Seems like we have been here before!!

That year had them play Eisenhower Auditorium and it was the first and last rock show they allowed there as a lot of stuff got thrown at the crappy opening act, TKO. That plus Ray Davies appeared to be bombed out of his mind from what I recall. A great show by the Kinks anyway.

Soundboard bootlegs of the show exist also

Going to see these guys next Saturday at Wells Fargo. This light show looks sick!

Got into these guys years ago. Not as much of fan of their more recent synth based songs, but they are absolutely fantastic and Kevin Parker is a monster in the music industry. Enjoy the show. I'm sure it will be amazing.

For those that like the older rock sound (think late 60's Beatles meets Pink Floyd).

I am so there. LOL.

Shrooms baby.
I asked 1 & 2 about their experiences a few weeks ago, it was hilarious to watch grown men (27 and 24 yo) shyly tell moms and I what they’ve consumed lol
My advice before they headed off to State was avoid anything that was manufactured in a shop sink behind a Mexico City tire store

One of my favorite experiences with blotter was walking back to North Halls in a snow storm, at night, listening to Terrapin Staion on my Walkman.(y)
