Divert much do you lol? So, you think that the Mountaineers are more like Texas Tech, TCU, Baylor and Iowa State for example? Really? More than Pitt, Virginia Tech, Syracuse or North Carolina for that matter...really? Of course being in a P5 anywhere is better financially than not being but from fan availability...to rivalries...to just about anything else the Big 12-2=10 is a stretch. Of course you are probably one of the new wave of "fans" that watch the game on their smartphone and get all excited lol. How many road trips to a Big 12-2=10 campus have you been on to watch the Mountaineers? None. Thought so. Go back to the basement 44FoolsGold.

Big 12 is a larger platform.
It is moving up and improving the standing of WVU.

If you cannot accept this you must be not be a WVU fan.

You have to sacrifice sometimes. Like taking a job 3 hours away because it pays enough to provide for your family. You may not like it but it is what is best.
That is the position WV is in. They can play in the Mountain East and everyone can see all the games that isn't the best thing for WVU.

You are not in reality.
You are in some fantasy world that Rootmaster is important.
That world doesn't exist in reality.

WVU as a university understands this. If they had their way they wouldn't be in the Big 12 but what WVU wants isn't going to work.
You have to take what is best for WVU.

Do I wish that WVU was playing old rivals Virginia Tech and Pitt every year in the same conference? Anyone who is a true Mountaineer fan would say yes to that. Some of us need to get over the fact that it will not happen for the foreseeable future. Enjoy our Big XII money and how it helps us grow in the conference.

But you are speaking of a subject that isn't possible at the current time.
Plus WVU would be in the same position as the rest of the ACC if they joined. Hanging onto hope that their network is a success and looking at other options if not

Maybe you will think twice about your constant attacks on the Big 12.
No reason for it.

WVU should play Pitt 4 times and beat the **** out of them and just stop playing.

I am all for that. Puts them in their place.

Truthfully your AD understands this and that is why he is playing certain opponents.
Marshall....No reason to play them.
But VA Tech and Maryland. They both have recruits. I think VA Tech is more important because it is the ACC.
Plus I have respect for VA Tech. Great school and great fans. Not like Pitt. People there even care about them anymore.

Good team to play every year IMO.
