Throw in some Traveling Wilburys and a cold beer and it’s a relaxing night. Don’t know why I associate Tom Petty with autumn, but it works for me.

The album he did with Beth Hart is some fine music. I like Dust Bowl very much as well.

I dig Postmodern Juke Box, of which sometimes Puddles is a part. Incidentally one of their covers, well all of their music is covers, is going to be our wedding song or first dance song...or whatever the hell you call it. Side note, I now know why people elope.
Grateful Dead, all concerts during 1977 which is arguably one of their best tour years. I've really gotten into some Whiskey Myers and Ryan Bingham as well.
He has an interview show on YouTube called Welcome to Nerdville. It's pretty good. He had Warren Haynes on one episode and Myles Kennedy on the latest episode.

And I’ll add Billy Strings. I think I saw his name on here first. I really like some of his stuff. Some of it is too mellow/folksy, but this dude can play the mess out of a guitar.

Been listening to my amazon playlist a lot, instead of listening to channels. Wide variety of 90s alt, 90s rock, 00s alt, 10s alt, and 10s indie rock.
I think Avett Brothers' True Sadness(the song) was played about 20 times this past weekend. The lyrics are simply fantastic. sad and uplifting, discouraging and hopeful all in the same song.

I saw them 2 years ago at a local 2 day music festival and it was the most energy I have seen in person on stage. My goodness there was so much movement and passion. He puts on a helluva show.
No doubt. I'm liking some 80 and 81 dates as well. Lots of Brown Eyed Women, Althea and Terrapin, which are some of my favs.
I'm a progressive rock guy, and 2 songs by YES have been eerily helpful in making sense of what's going on today with disagreements among different folks with strong opinions.

I happened to see this yesterday. Wow she got blown up for cultural appropriation.
Admittedly, I often struggle to understand what is appropriation and what is appreciation. There are some obvious examples, but then there are a lot of examples where it just seems the person likes the style of a different culture's clothing/hair and apparently that is bad?...its confusing.
Nice. I've always wanted to get into the 80s but wasn't sure where to start. Any specific suggestions from those years?
