A sitar would have been a better instrumental choice.

If I’d had it simply described to me. I would probably wouldn’t have thought I’d dig it. But her voice has a very unique quality to it… really nice.

And yet her parents couldn’t be bothered to show up for her audition?

What a family, extensions included 🙄

‘Ro, saw her when she sang this (yes, I do watch America’s Got Talent). Simon was a real jerk getting on her because her parents couldn’t make it….he’s just a real jerk on the show, can’t wear anything nicer than a t-shirt half the time.

Anyway, she knocked it out of the park, the judges all liked her and the crowd loved her. Kudos to her!!!!!

Version of a Popular 1970s song.?

I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it

I don’t like that at all. Made the song boring and I found the voice annoying. Kind of warbley.
Edit: I responded after watching the video in your first message and not reading past that. Now having done so I see that she is a relative. I will leave my opinion there as you asked for opinions and that is still mine but add that I wish her luck.

That was really well done. Best of luck to her in whatever she does in her career. She could be a star with the right management.

That was very enjoyable. She is extremely talented….I was thinking about covers the other day. They’re tough. You don’t want to try to sound just like the original and you don’t want to change it so much that the song becomes unrecognizable….She definitely added her mark to the song and kept its original spirit….Well done!

She has a great voice and is quite talented.

I don't care for the rendition of the song, but that is not a reflection on her.... as I've said on this board before, music is so much about personal preference.

She is very good.

Thanks for sharing. Decent voice, some struggles in her upper register but likely nerves. I did not care for the guitar tuning though. But she was there as a singer not a guitar player.
