Bubba did say he never saw it. One of his team members came to him and told him. But all in all, great that there was no racist act committed but this is pretty embarrassing for NASCAR.

well there is a loose end. Wallace called people who doubted it happened “small minded” today on national TV.

Looky there. looks like the Russians had a better idea of what happened before the FBI did. I’ll put Russia Today on my morning news reading list along with my usual reliable sources of CNN and MSNBC.

The media is gonna give him a pass. He should be dragged over the coals for this. That’s just an expression, I don’t seriously want anyone to be dragged over coals. But I will smile if he has engine failure next race or fails to find anyone to draft with him at the next restrictor plate race.

“Lady’s and gents, I want to apologize for my comments earlier abt small minded people. It was I in fact who acted small minded by that comment.

A mistake was made and we all jumped to conclusions. I sincerely apologize and hope I learn from this as well as every one else. It’s important to not look at every situation as being offensive. It’s important to let due process happen. Blah blah blah”

Something to that effect would go along way in the climate we are currently experiencing.

Probably won’t happen though.

Did you even look at the pics above? It was clearly in place back in Oct/Nov last year in that garage. No way it was premeditated months in advance and they guided Bubbas car to that exact garage. Y’all are looking for something to ***** about.

Nooses aren’t always racial.

Numbers from the nascar drivers page, put in a readable format for this page by me.

Out of 89 starts that drivers average starting position is 24.2, finishing position is 23.2. Has logged 24,727 laps, leading a mere 24 of those laps. Has 6 top 10 finishes and 2 top 5 finishes with ZERO poles and ZERO wins, and had 11 DNF’s (did not finish). That’s not exactly running with the leaders.

Surely the media wouldn’t fall for what seems like a publicity stunt from a mediocre at best driver.

One can hope, my friend, but we both know that will never happen. The opening lines of the story will read something like this:

"Even though the NOOSE placed in Bubba Wallace's NASCAR garage turned out to be a misunderstanding, The act has opened up a very important dialogue in America. It started a conversation..."

The media will never admit they were wrong. But the fact of the matter is that they weren't simply wrong. They straight up lie to the American people.

And that Richard Petty, who raced NASCAR in over 1,100 races also let a rope that looked like a noose hang on the door around the first black driver in the modern era of NASCAR.
