Why are there SO MANY OT threads in this RU football thread? More OT content than RU football content even though there is a separate OT board.

It’s always been this way in the off season, and the supposed OT board is sort of a . . . . Well, go look for yourself.

We have a poster who does that- up to 10 threads a day with no context and links to paywalled sites. They get zero responses.

And usually, OP's that complain about OT's never start or respond to football threads.
at least we no longer get the 10 individual link posts that he used to do in good active threads that would pretty much push all relevant posts to a 2nd page...

Annual threads complaining about OT threads is a board tradition. I find it funny that Richie constantly posts podcasts discussing breaking football and basketball news yet there is little traffic or reaction to them. They do a great job with the podcasts. The football-related content is there to discuss, even in the offseason, but people choose not to or don't look too hard for it.

The Honda Accord is the greatest car ever.

Discuss.
Especially if you're eating a porkrolleggandcheeseonahardrollwitsaltpepperandketchup in it while driving around Central Jersey - which definitely exists - looking for a Home Depot big enough to hold a replica of Tre Timbers's head.

Public Service OT in a thread complaining about OT threads

...... for those that love Pork Roll / Taylor Ham......found this bad boy at Costco in Bridgewater for ~$25

2800 miles away in Carlsbad California, the same one is on sale at a specialty meat market. My neighbors were very intrigued when I served it at a bbq

Geology is also why our snow/rain line is often oriented SW to NE along the "fall line" or where the elevation goes up considerably from SE to NW just NW of the 95 corridor. Elevation is a major key to the snow/line in borderline situations (temp goes down about 0.35F for every 100' increase in elevation) and distance from the relatively mild ocean is also a factor (although less important than elevation) when we have E or ENE winds bringing precip from the ocean inland, as temps get a bit cooler the further away from the ocean in most setups and for NJ that distance from the ocean is roughly equal along SW to NE lines.

But the arguments around what is or in not CNJ aren't geological, they're more geographical and DMA (media market) focused relative to proximity to NYC and Philly. Geographically, there seems little argument over Hunterdon, Somerset, Mercer, Middlesex and Monmouth being "central" NJ, with Union being a close call, but Ocean clearly being "southern", like Burlington Co. However, Union is so close to NYC that is seems more appropriate to leave it in NNJ, while at least the northern 2/3 of Ocean Co. (north of 72/LBI mostly) seems much more NYC-focused, so having it in CNJ seems right to me (same for BurlCo being in SNJ, as it's Philly-focused). The map below is the "official" NJ CNJ map.

Where on the map is Central Jersey? I see 13 northern counties as part of NYC/North Jersey/CT. Metro area and 8 southern counties as part of the Philly/South Jersey/DE Metro Area.🤔🤣

Okay, there is a Central Jersey, which is the center part of the Jersey Isles in the UK.😆

1. It exists.

2. I’m cool with this angle view previously posted.

Since you are a premium member, stick to the Round Table forum. Much less OT threads there and more current info.

You want to hear true irony?

This is the only thread the OP has created on this board, and his initial post and one reply are the only posts he has ever made on this board.
Because my friend I just joined!
And you are wrong, it is my second post.
And was just a question, chill dude.
Shouldn’t you be moderating not making fun of posters?

So by: "CASE closed." you mean that that is the common swill consumed by the unwashed masses.

I grew up in Essex County - mom cooked it and called it Taylor Ham.

Lived in Central Jersey before moving back to Morris County - and knew it as Pork Roll.

Whatever the branding.......I've evolved (or devolved 😄) to become an equal opportunity lover of salted smoked pork parts compressed and rolled with added carcinogenic preservatives fried up together on a roll or bagel with eggs & cheese.

Well I have definitely devolved about a lot of things! In fact, maybe just in general.
