1. As stated before, Gleeson's system changes according to personnel,
2. Sit shouldve done research in seeing that this was not going to be the same old same old as was the last two years and made the decision for himself. Like the decision he made last year to quit on Rutgers as the starting QB.

Blackshear quit. Art didn’t.

SIT PLAYED for one of the worst coaches and team under bad circumstances. SHOWED a lot of
Improvement. But still loves Rutgers.
Why all the hate for him,
But Matt Millen said that Ash showed Rutgers how to work hard and stuff???? [roll]

Ash was a mess as a head coach here. He made too many bad hires. Bad fit. He was a hard worker. His players worked for him and they finished games.

I really don’t understand how you guys take this so emotionally.

From Schiano presser he indicated Langan will be involved in the offense sort of like Tayson Hill with Saints. He was very complimentary about Gleeson and his usage of vedral. Looks like Art only plays if an injury occurs or to shake things up
And then I think that next year he drops behind the other two QB's from NY and PA.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but Vedral has no arm. He did a decent job today, but he is just a stopgap at this point. Art will get his chances this year.
His arm isn't the greatest but I think he's serviceable and you can help him and make it easier for him too with the plays you call and I think Gleeson did a solid job of that. Keep TOs to a minimum and making good decisions matter as well if he can keep that up.

Vedral wasn't all THAT. We need to see Sit play a series or two next week. Up by three scores in the 4th, couldn't GS reward the dude with a series?

Why does RU get the female announcer more than any other team? Not that there's anything right with that. And Matt M illen needs a cheat sheet of cliches. (too "cocked"). Two more wins and we'll get better announcers.

Thats ********. He gets 4 years of eligibility. He burned one in a season when he wasn’t ready. Why burn the second on a season we all wrote off? He chose us over Miami. He dressed and stood ready to come in if needed. And when there was a coaching change he reaffirmed his commitment to Rutgers.

I’m rooting for Art. I hope he lights it up when his chance comes - and it will.

Art chose RU over Miami? Not exactly.

Art initially chose Miami over RU, remember?

When he lost the starting QB job at IMG the Miami staff dropped him as a recruit. Only then did Art came back to RU with his tail between his legs. Yet you say he chose us over Miami. Whatever.

Being a winning quarterback isn't about just having a big arm. Accuracy, touch, avoiding too many mistakes, feeling pressure, legs to extend plays. I saw enough from Vedral that we can win college football games with him. He is the Number 1 until someone can unseat him and right now I don't see that happening. Art is a statue, doesn't feel pressure or throw on the run or extend plays with his legs.
This (except for your last sentence, and would say "In past games, Art was. ."
Remember when people used to clamor for Rettig because he had a "higher ceiling?"

As Rosanna Rosanna Danna used to say. It's always something. But for RU fans it is always:

#FreeTheBackupQB

I wish Art well. His journey and career are far from over.

We should move on and support Sitkowski. If we are down big in some games I would put in Sitkowski to preserve Vedral and see if has improved on interception problems. If Vedral comes back next year I expect Sitkowski to transfer because he will probably be overtaken by Snynder and Simon as they are better runners.
