Well, not only is it BS to assign him to a UK game, they make it another road game. At least have the balls to make him come to Lexington to screw us!

Sirmons primarily refs in the Big 12. We could still have Blind Karl Hess , Doug Shows, and Pat Adams! LOL this is getting crazy!

UK is the only sports cash cow that I know that gets treated like absolute **** by conference officials.
Its like biting the hand that feeds them.
They are just so butthurt because UK has dominated the SEC in basketball for 75 yrs and they can no longer even hide their collective hatred.

I say we go solo. F em all.

I figured he meant the florida game and got them confused.

I think everything is coming from Larry Vaught's article about Sirmons was scheduled to do the UF game..... and I think some are running with that and got it confused with Vandy since Vandy is our next game

I thought MJ said he wouldn't be officiating any more of our games?
I believe he said he was not going to be scheduled any more games UK games. He did not make it clear whether he was already scheduled to do any more.

This happens all time with refs.

To Sirmons this is just another game for him, just like the last one he called. Officials don't dwell on games like the fans do. They know themselves when they miss a call or get it right. You can't officiate games and let the fans get in your head. I doubt very much that he is doubting his call in the SC game and has probably forgot about it by now.
It is the nature of the job for fans to be upset about some calls, because they are bias and the officials know that.

So to say they realize they have to be on their best behavior goes without saying. They know that. I would think the coaches and players has to do the same.

Wonder why Sirmons had rabbit ears at South Carolina? Couldn't have had anything to do with him marching Kansas to the line a couple weeks before.

No, Sirmons is the epitome of calm, cool, and collected. He's practically a ninja.

You are answering your own questions.

You are answering your own questions. Don't understand "rabbit ears" or marching Kansas to the line.

You're probably right about the majority of officials but not all of them fit your description. Some are biased and some are incompetent. Sirmons is one or the other or maybe both.

I'm inclined to think both - he's incompetent and knows it. The BBN is knowledgeable enough to call him out - which perpetuates his bias

He's scheduled to be the ref when UK goes to Gainesville.. I can see that going very well for us..

The officials for games aren't known til a few hours before the game. Unless you're a CBB ref yourself I don't see how you know this.

Was you dropped on your head as a kid? Or is it just natural for you? It's already been said,, in my post,, that Nation of Blue reported it.. And someone else verified that Vaught had it on his page.. Some of you I seriously don't know how you manage day to day activities..
