We just let Madden off the hook in the 1st. He didn’t have command of the fast ball

How in the Hell do we end up with 17ing Eduardo calling 3 straight games. ESPN needs to hide him calling NBA so no one will notice him.

Yeah I know he isn’t a K pitcher. I meant they are hitting the two strike pitch where one of the 7 fielders aren’t standing. He is leaving it up and over the plate. They are hitting “their” pitch location , not Harding’s pitch preferable location.

Damn this game. My Apple Watch told me my heart rate was 120 for 10 minutes after watching that last inning.

That is unfortunate. James makes him throw 9 pitches. And Hancock bails Madden out with a quick pop up. The batters are going to need to change the approach some.

We’ve seen 3 guys take a first pitch fastball down the middle and swing over the top of the dirt breaking ball. Got to adjust cause they are going to throw him 100+ pitches if we keep doing that.

MSU’s goal is much different than a Little League coach’s goal. They want to knock him out vs taking him out.

So which approach was better that inning? Dubrule working a walk or Cumbest first pitch lazy fly ball?

Clark took a called third strike but he made him throw more pitches. Madden could be at 77-80 through 4 rather than 70 if we take a couple of those down breakers here and there.

Bout time to go get Harding soon. No more baserunners should be allowed for him.

Yeah.. those were a couple of JHC moments after Dubrule’s walk. But thats baseball.
