That was all on Smith. After the foul ball, he didn’t throw one within 4 inches of the black edge of the plate. He did the unpardonable. He walked the lead off guy. Then Lemonis had a brain fart in who to bring in to pitch.

It's all on Lemonis. You can't start that inning with smith. It has to be sims. You can't bring in stinnett there. It has to be sims.

I'm sick and goddam tired of reading people stroke Lemonis on here. He's terrible. This team plays their 17n heart out to overcome his dumbass decisions over and over and he keeps putting them behind the 8 ball over and over. Our guys deserve better.

I shudder to think about what this looks like when all of Cannizzaro's players are gone.

You’re not wrong based upon what I’ve seen on this trip. He’s trying too much finesse IMO.

I have no doubt Lemonis made a bad decision sending Smith back out there and then brain farted again bringing Stinnett in. There is no doubt now if State doesn’t play Monday, Lemonis has not yet shown he is a big game coach. Tomorrow, he will get another chance with Bednar on the mound, but if our batters don’t get it going early, I am not sure even Bednar and Sims can save us.

Yep. Incredible that this fan base and this program struggles so hard in the biggest stages. I guess y’all all do know that there are Choctaw burial grounds under TD Ameritrade, The Meadowlands, and the Orange Bowl. I can’t remember where the women played their two Basketball Finals but I’m pretty sure there are Choctaws buried under those facilities.

When you have a chance to win a national championship, as a coach, you never want to have that feeling that you lost and you never used your best bullet. I promise you Lemonis is feeling that right now.
