That's what separates the truly great players from the average. The great ones take a loss, keep quiet, work on their game and come back stronger! The average blame everyone for their failures and cry about everything! Just shut up and move on.

I wonder what he thinks will happen when he gets to the NBA? They won't be calling fouls on the cheerleaders when he blows a layup!!!! Lol @ Simmons!!!!!

Can't believe he had the stones to say that. Who did he say this to?

He's very talented but he's an average person at best. He's arrogant, didn't go to class for 2+ month stretch and cares about nothing but himself and his numbers.

LSU wouldn't certify him to be eligible for the Wooden Award. That should tell you all you need to know.
I rarely get to agree with you, Zay - but this one you have my wholehearted hell to the yes

Nice basketball player, but obviously not very smart or classy.

Who gives an ish what he says? Doesn't make it factual.

He's in a bad mood after his team lost another one today, plus he probably has a paper due in Trig that is due Monday that he is concerned about.

I just had this delicious thought
You have seen how our players are all brothers - whether they played on the same team or not. Simmons will be in the NBA next year - but he'll be playing with and against UK players. Our former players might just be a bit protective and take exception to the comments about Ulis. Wouldn't that be lovely?

He's complaining after the foul they called on Murray when he picked him clean? He didn't get touched on that play but he got 2 free throws.

well he scored exactly zero meaningful points. with their season on the line.

also funny because that was one of the best pg displays i've ever seen at uk. ulis literally forced assists on their defense. that's embarrassing to a defense. how much more owned can you get? diced them to many pieces and was responsible for most of our points. figured being an all-around player he'd know what that means. but he thinks gunner moody is better lol. sour grapes. ulis (auto correct) won player of the year and the poster nailed it at the top.

After our first meeting, with him, I said I'd love for Boogie to be the one to welcome him to the league. I still stand by that.

Simmons & LSU acted and sounded an awful lot like Cinci and West Virginia we played in the NCAAT last season, come to think of it.....

said if you touch him it's a foul, and called Moody at Ole Miss a better PG.
Well they are are upset and jealous they came into Rupp today focused and ready to get the win and played as well as I have seen them play all season and if they had played with that focus all year they would be NCAA bound instead of NIT bound.

Simmons is talented however he did didn't invent the game of BB. The way ESPN and others gush over him, you would think the kid can walk on water. Instead of being on twitter, he should be in the gym working on his jump shot or in the weight room getting stronger.

What he really means is, gosh I wish I could have played with a PG that darn good. What player on any team, even a couple we know at the same position, wouldn't want to play with Ulis. Mr. Simmons, say anything else and it's basically a fail.
