That's basically a law suit on the SEC for the refs not stopping the game. Total complete negligence

update** He has movement in feeling in fingers and toes.prayers for Nick
Stick to your day job.
Hey fluffer boy, why is there a rule to stop play in football when the helmet comes off? Same reason you stop the game there. Injury could and would have been prevented if only one of the 3 refs did their job.

Not true. When a helmet comes off, the play is dead by rule. And in basketball, if a player is injured bad enough, or in danger, play stops immediately. Good news is, it looks like he will be OK. But the refs 17ed this up badly.
I agree they should have stopped play once MSU had the ball, but it seems like they wanted to give MSU the fast break chance and didnt realize Nick was there/wouldnt/couldnt get out of the way.
Horrible to see.
Awful that it happened.
Dumb ref decision in hindsight.
Suing the SEC?...pump the brakes and wait to see whats wrong.
