Wow, I saw some weird stuff after I decided to do this.

Austin Desanto has otherworldly grip strength and a proficient dump n’at series, doesn’t like to lose, is rarely out hustled, and is somewhat at best limited against highly skilled (even 1 arm) opponents.

He’s also so courageous! Spencer beat him 15-0 (I think) at PA States their junior year and he decided (without knowledge of any SL injuries that I know of) to challenge the best wrestler in the world and dug deep to win it at the end! That’s my kind of balls!!

From what I've heard of him when he speaks, I don't think he has any connection to PSU beyond having a similar coaching philosophy to Cael.

He was a high school wrestler with no accolades who started a training center and coached PJ Duke from a young age. PJ, Rocco Welsh, Zack Ryder, and Jayden James, once or current PSU weestlers, trained at his club. Perhaps Cam Howard will be another.

Jakob Camacho also trained there.

No idea, but he seems to be getting results. In the last few years I think he's been pretty effective of getting high school kids ready for international competition.

American wrestling is stronger because it has guys like Desanto, Nato,Wick and more who stick around and keep wrestling. Those suggesting Desanto give up his dream because he hasn't achieved it and may never achieve it are odd. If you have a passion and a dream, you don't stop pushing for it just because you fail. What an odd sentiment within a wrestling community. Wrestling is one of the ultimate "failure is a means to improve" sport in America.

Woah woah let's take it easy on the fat shaming. This hits home for me. My doctor recently listed obesity as a health concern after my physical because I'm 226 at 6'2. 🤣

Jk, obviously...Fat jokes are funny and so are short jokes. It's also funny knowing how many short guys on here are absolutely fat as well but love throwing stones because a guy runs a club that isn't having kids come to their favorite college. If Jody Stritmatter was Jody Stritfatter y'all wouldn't **** on him for it.

Yup. You can’t have only a few guys at each weight vying for world and Olympic teams. It doesn’t work that way.

Anyway, the only people advocating for this are an established simp and a troll. (So really both established simps.)

He actually started coaching at Iowa style coached by former Hawkeye John Degl and then started his own club.
