Don't worry they got Warner. Make all the differenceThis program is in absolute shambles. Coaches can’t develop and they can’t recruit. Guess we’ll have to go through this circus one more year.
Seems like he's pretty good at FS...Lovett strikes me as a guy that would be good at Greco.
Generally FS reviews are way better than folk...but not always. They got right to business on the final review. Here comes another 5 minute review.
They got that one done quick.
Not sure why Lee didn’t get that push out with his legs out. When he got spun around instead to give up 1 and injure his elbow, that was the turning point. Luke looked huge. Can’t believe he makes 125. We better pray he outgrows it over next 2 years. Not true. They changed it.
I think the cut has become hard the last few years. Both true. Its not like its not blatantly obvious where Spencer's weaknesses lie. He gets tired.
Believe Brands is under contract for 2-3 more years. He’s not going anywhere. This program is in absolute shambles. Coaches can’t develop and they can’t recruit. Guess we’ll have to go through this circus one more year.
He doesnt cut much at all in comparisonI think the cut has become hard the last few years.
LEE up by 2WOOO could have given up the push out!Even if Spencer got a push out point, wouldn’t LL have won on criteria with his last takedown?
Don’t let facts get in the way of a good ***** fest.Even if Spencer got a push out point, wouldn’t LL have won on criteria with his last takedown?
Still not 100% from the rib injury. Now he has time to get healthy for final XBuchanan gets the win 5-3 over Zilmer. Very good 1st period, faded hard in the second.
How was LL headlock not 4Don’t let facts get in the way of a good ***** fest.
Iron Hawk actually made sense. Nice.LEE up by 2WOOO could have given up the push out!
Even if Spencer got a push out point, wouldn’t LL have won on criteria with his last takedown?
Good point. Either way, Spencer is going to whoop that dude at final XNo because it would've been 5-0 Spencer, not 4-1 Spencer before the first takedown. Spencer should've got the push out point before he spun around and gave up the point himself.
If he got the step-out it would have been 5-0 instead of 4-1, and the final headlock would have only made it 5-4 Lee. because it would have been stopped with the step-out and Lilledahl wouldn't have gotten that first point. Edit: I guess I typed slower.Even if Spencer got a push out point, wouldn’t LL have won on criteria with his last takedown?
You are a tool. Seriously. Get a lifeI could very well be wrong, but I swear I saw a set of eyeglasses fly across the mat near the end of the 57kg match.
Wasnt feet to backHow was LL headlock not 4
No, because Lilledahl got awarded the push out so it was effectively a 2 point swing. Going into the last sequence instead of it being 4-3 Spencer it would have been 5-2 Spencer, 5-4 post head lockEven if Spencer got a push out point, wouldn’t LL have won on criteria with his last takedown?
That feeling isn't new. It's a horrific night. If Patrick B. goes down, it will feel like Iowa wrestling is dead.
No.Even if Spencer got a push out point, wouldn’t LL have won on criteria with his last takedown?
for all the handwringing about the step out, couldn't one of the dipshit brothers have thrown the brick?
Are there challenges at the U.S. Open for when the corner disagrees with the call on the mat?LEE up by 2WOOO could have given up the push out!
The problem is that we're not doing anything to fix the problem. And I don't know what the fix is, but whatever it is, we're not doing it.At some point I’d like something other than heartbreak from Iowa wrestling.
