I would feel bad for ASU, but Oregon really messed up that conference in the end. And as we know the PAC12 was really weak this year.

Mississippi State got a 5 seed and ASU beat them and Kansas. Johnnies I think should be worried.

You guys called it, ASU and the Johnnies. If people remember the VCU Johnnies game it went to overtime. And I watched overtime, and it looked like a foul on the Johnnies and the announcers thought it was a foul. That game got them in.

So the Johnnies and ASU are in and face each other. Wow. Good for both of them.

Well Lunardi not only nailed the first seeds, but also predicted that the B1G would get 8 teams in (the most) followed by the ACC and Big12.

I have to say, nothing really surprises me in the seedings except for Michigan St. and Michigan. I think Michigan should be with Duke and Michigan St. should be with Gonzaga.

So BAC, you were right. The Johnnies were the last team in the tourney.

Well wrong on TCU being in tho

So it appears that UNC Greensboro was last out...wow

NC State wasnt even in last 4 out

So the head of the NCAA committee (from Stanford) did consider both Michigan St. and Michigan for the one line, but still felt the 4 chosen were more rewarding for the #1 seeds. I would agree with that now.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised at the UNCG being the last one out. I don't know why but using the "eye" test I was never enthralled with TCU. And I kind of understand why NC State wasn't in the last 4 because they just didn't win enough in the Quad 1 opportunities they had. Of course if they had gotten in over St. Johns or ASU there would be a justification for that too. LOL.

On ESPN Bilas and Williams and Greenberg agreed that the NCAA committee did a very good job EXCEPT for putting Michigan St., the top 2 seed in the number 1 bracket, meaning Duke. They all agree that Michigan St. should have been in the lowest of the 1 seeds which would be Gonzaga. I had called that earlier, and that was one of the issues I did have. Other than that, I thought the committee did a pretty darn good job this year.

Dukie Vitale just chimed in ripping the committee for putting Michigan St. in the same bracket as Duke.

Another puzzler is why at the bottom of the east region there are 3 big 10 squads. Also mich state can play Minnesota in round 2 if both win. Weird.

I think seton hall caught a break playing Wofford in opening round. Winnable game. Not a fan of having squads who have played each other meet in round 2 a la seton hall vs Kentucky and mich state vs either Louisville or Minnesota. How could they do that with Minnesota.
