secret scrimmages

[QChawks]

good competition

[HawkAlum2002]

Second one must actually be a real secret.

[RuggieC]

good competition

That will be good for the boys.

I do have to chuckle.....a secret scrimmage where we know where it is and who it is against.

[Palmerhawk]

Ben's buddies are TT coach and the St Louis coach....Slu could be next scrimmage.

[Destin Hawk]

Yes TT and SLU

[HawksRule25]

Yes TT and SLU

[Manfredi]

[Max Rebo]

[TailgateTom]

Then there is an exhibition planned for CHA after those two, I believe.

So, not quite secret anymore . . .

[Hawksfor3]

Watching Thunder vs Bucks on Prime. Mara's size paying off for OKC. I hope Ben utilizes McKeever in this way. Plenty of lobs could go a long way.

[ChicagoHawk2020]

I thought we were done with secret scrimmages and they can all be public now

Not sure Andrew is a lob threat. He's more Zach Edey than Aday Mara size and athletically speaking.

[Wobmam Rulez!]

Second one must actually be a real secret.

And anyone who releases any information about it will be placed on double secret probation!

[HawkBall23]

Ah yes, the always famous not-that-secret secret scrimmages.

They're a secret, but everyone knows about them.

[CleteyColgate]

good competition

I won't tell

[Buffalo43]

It's no secret about these secret scrimmages

[DuddyB]

I can’t wait till these secret games are televised and marketed two months before the season starts.

[Palmerhawk]

Creighton is scrimmaging SLU this weekend.

The way things are trending we may be getting a few summer games in the future!

[Hawkangler]

I won't tell

I guess the 2nd scrimmage is more secret

Then, and only THEN, can we put to rest this inglorious nonsense known to man as,,,,,,,,"Secret Scrimmage."

[Hawksfor3]

I won't tell

[2432Hawk]

Saint Louis (who Iowa has secret scrimmage with next week) goes into Nebraska and knocks off the Huskers. Billikens have some really good guards.

Pryce had only 8 points. 3-8. Yikes. But, IIRC, Ben said no matter the outcome of these scrimmages, it's a learning process and being ready when the games matter. Thanks for the info.

Yes, by the looks of it Nebraska used 5 players at the start of the game.

Lessons learned by Fred and Staff.

[Mitch122_rivals]

Jacobsen is a starter for them? Yikes

It's a scrimmage. Lots of guys playing and different lineups.

Nebraska has 7'2" guy that can stretch the floor and hit 3s and pass like Mast did.

[CleteyColgate]

My gawd, play defense Iowa

[QChawks]

It’s gonna be a long season

Jeez, Mr. Pessimist. Life must be a downer always thinking the worst. I'm bullish about the Hawks. More size, better shooters and more returning players. I have confidence Ben will mold this team into a consistent winner.

It’s gonna be a long season

[PinkShizzle]

Are all three of those injured guys for TT starters?
