Toothpaste player stuffed Grant at the rim and he proceeded to fall on his ***. Still trying to flop...only works in the SEC Grant.

Certainly a lot of difference in the 2 seeds. Not sure ACU was better than a 16

Because the refs gave UT the game in the final few minutes, and still finished 1 spot behind UK in the SEC regular season standings. All this happened with UT's greatest team ever, and probably Cal's 4th or 5th best team during his tenure at UK.

I'd hate to be a UT fan.
Did NOT finish second behind UK in the regular standing. Get your facts straight. They both tied for second and UK was seeded second for the sec tourney. IF LSU has to vacant their regular season title, then BOTH UK and UT would be declared regular season CO-champions. FACT.

Actually, UK gets the nod simply based on the Tennessee warm-ups:

Sorry, it's true.

TN over a 2 seed tough fight to hang on by 7. UK 35 point blowout and hard to keep focus even with our best player out. That's the difference from a program with a ton of banners including 8 titles compared to a program with 1 E8 banner in over 100 years LOL. TN probably going to go down next game even though Cinny got beat and Iowa isn't that good. No faith in TN, history is against the Vols. Like all of history of college BB.

I'd be worried about a no-named team like Wofford instead of disparaging UT. Survive and advance- that's all this is about at this point. Wait..... if UK loses tomorrow you'll come back and say " what a GREAT team Wofford was

Yes, we should. However, we can multi-task, especially on an off day. Once you make your first Final Four (sorry, could not help it), you'll find that you can do that as well. Of course, you may find an angry Cat in Minneapolis if you are lucky enough to advance that far.

Actually, UK won the tie-breaker. I forget the criteria (maybe someone could help me with that) that gave us the edge over UT, but UK finished 2nd and UT finished third. After LSU's wins are removed from the record book, UK will have won yet another regular season conference victory as UT slips back into being even more irrelevant than they already are (which is pretty irrelevant lol).

That was for SEC Tournament seeding. LSU finished first with UK & UT sharing second in the regular season title. If LSU vacates, I'm not sure that either UK or UT will get the title. Logical that we would but you just don' t know what they will do.

AGAIN, you are wrong . There is no " tie-breaking" scenario. If they ended up with the same sec record ( even if one of them went 2 and 0 against the other) then they both would be declared co-champions. Look it up.

Guys, you should take it easy on the Vols. Their athletic department really is kind of sad these days. Realistically, they have no chance to ever win another championship in any college sport that people actually watch.

In football, they're essentially a slightly better version of Kentucky at this point. They haven't been to a big time bowl in 10 years, won the SEC East in 12 years, or the conference in 21 years. I mean Bill Clinton was suffering through the Lewinsky scandal during that time. The last time they beat their biggest rival Alabama, Phil Fulmer outdueled Mike Shula in 2006. Plus, they've had like 5 coaches in the last decade. Demographics and the nature of the SEC pretty much guarantees they will never consistently beat Alabama, Georgia, Florida, or LSU. Since 2007. they're a combined 5-37 against those 4 programs. Ouch!

Meanwhile, on the hardwood, they have 1 Elite 8 and 4 other Sweet 16s in their program's HISTORY. Even within the SEC, they haven't won a conference tournament since the Jimmy Carter administration. By comparison in the last 5 seasons alone, UK has 4 Sweet 16s, 3 Elite 8s, 2 Final Fours, and 4 SEC Tournament titles.

Sadly, their once vaunted women's team hasn't been to the Final Four in over a decade or even won the SEC Tournament in 5 years. This year they finished 8th out of 14 teams with a 7-9 conference record.

The UT baseball team hasn't made the NCAA Tournament since 2005 or won the SEC since Bill Clinton's first term. Last season, they finished in last place in the SEC East division.

Go easy on the Tennessee fans. It's hard being a UT Vol.

UK went 10-3 in football, UT went 5-7. We went 8-5, 7-6 previous two seasons, they went 5-7. What world are they a better football program than us at this point?
