When do we start the push for Kenny Minchey to be invited to New York?
The only stat minchey has is 1 int…his passing and rushing numbers are pedestrian (whch I don’t care about).Stats aren't gawdy enough to warrant an invite. Still wouldn't trade him for anybody.
I'd throw Malachi Money's name in the mix for a finalist. Dude is a threat to score every time he touches the ball. The only stat minchey has is 1 int…his passing and rushing numbers are pedestrian (whch I don’t care about).
maybe if Ky csn run the slate …he’d had a shot at heisman invite….
these two guys are given to be finalists
Mensah from Miami
Smith from Ohio st
but I’m not sure who the third candidate would be
Stein is the favorite for COTY. Minchey is a good, solid player, not an invite to NY playerHe doesn't have the gaudy numbers or the national media hype, unfortunately. But he definitely gets the job done. Voters certainly can't overlook Stein as coach of the year though.
I'd be writing the check to keep him NOW. Because he is technically eligible for the draft and since he's very good, teams might come looking for a solid QB2 or a serviceable QB1 if a team needs it.If we’re lucky we will get to start that push next season. I think with a year under his belt in the system and working with our coaching staff, he could be ready to be at least in consideration next season.
