Stats aren't gawdy enough to warrant an invite. Still wouldn't trade him for anybody.
The only stat minchey has is 1 int…his passing and rushing numbers are pedestrian (whch I don’t care about).

maybe if Ky csn run the slate …he’d had a shot at heisman invite….

these two guys are given to be finalists
Mensah from Miami
Smith from Ohio st

but I’m not sure who the third candidate would be

I'd throw Malachi Money's name in the mix for a finalist. Dude is a threat to score every time he touches the ball.

Next year.

We will hype him in the preseason and it'll be up to him to deliver. Our AD will fundraise money, his strength, our NIL budget goes up a sizable amount, donors will do their thing, and UK will provide whatever resource Stein needs to build the program to his liking.

It really is a new day and age for UK athletics, FB being the main driver.

As a lifelong fan I just feel blessed 🙌. We've been through a lot as a fanbase. Even during bad times, we've always showed up. Vandy was sold out last night in a mid-season game. The present is unbelievable, but in the future we will be a legitimate contender as long as Stein is in charge.

"We're just getting started bro" 😎

He doesn't have the gaudy numbers or the national media hype, unfortunately. But he definitely gets the job done. Voters certainly can't overlook Stein as coach of the year though.
Stein is the favorite for COTY. Minchey is a good, solid player, not an invite to NY player

If we’re lucky we will get to start that push next season. I think with a year under his belt in the system and working with our coaching staff, he could be ready to be at least in consideration next season.
I'd be writing the check to keep him NOW. Because he is technically eligible for the draft and since he's very good, teams might come looking for a solid QB2 or a serviceable QB1 if a team needs it.
