I think Ben is a great coach and I know the team has been plagued by illness as of late. But what are thoughts on the first three big ten games this year where we go on a scoring drought half the game? It happened vs UCLA too...
ISU basketball has a sugar daddyWe need athletes until then we will continue to flounder. So far it seems we’re reluctant to spend on high value targets. The kid from Washington is a bonafide star in the making. The other forward isn’t ready for prime time the one redshirting this year. Recruiting has to pick up considerably, getting guards has proven to be abysmal for Ben and that needs to change pronto. ISU sure doesn’t have a problem getting high value targets, and I find it difficult to believe they have a bigger piggy bank than Iowa. Just sayin
So Iowa has NO rich alumni that have any interest in sports?ISU basketball has a sugar daddy
How was this your take away from my response to his comment about doubting ISU has a bigger piggy bank? I don't know who our rich alumni are, if they're sports fans or who among them already donate. All I know is I wish it was more, and I wish basketball had more to operate with.So Iowa has NO rich alumni that have any interest in sports?
Pretty simple. It sounded like you were implying ISU has a sugar daddy and Iowa does not. Sounds like you don't really know what Iowa has or doesn't have for rich alumni, though, by your own admission. How was this your take away from my response to his comment about doubting ISU has a bigger piggy bank? What isn't simple is your game of "gotcha" that you're trying to play for some reason? Like, what are you trying to prove?Pretty simple. Agree with your last sentence, though.
