Sam Bowie?

I miss Bowie. Caught the 30 for 30 about him a few years ago and it was excellent. A lot of folks hated his analysis when he was playing 2nd fiddle to Hacker but I thought he did a great job.
would have liked to have seen how good he could have been if he had been injury free.

I doubt it.
I was always 6'2" as an adult. I am now in late 50's and am 6'1" barely or 6'0.8". I am younger than Sam, he had to shrink.

Good guy. He and I prepared a term paper together for an economics class at UK. We received an A of course.
I am 72 y/o and Sam is my favorite Cat of All-Time .
His son interned for me a few years ago. Nicest kid you’ve ever met in your life. Also incredibly smart. He’s at UK or just graduated.
I'm old school. My fave all-time players are Sky, Mash, Bowie, Rex and Macy.

I think Sam was involved with trotting horses not sure if he still is?
I was watching this game live on NBC when this happened; I was 14 yrs old and to this day its the most amazing thing Ive ever seen on a basketball court minus Va Tech’s Les Henson’s full court heave around the same time that beat FSU in tiny Tully gym:

His wife and Donna smith owned a pie shop called Phat Pie. I went in there once and he was in there. He is a very large man.
