That doesn’t mean he needs to keep putting up bad shot after bad shot. He’s going to develop but adding 3 big misses doesn’t do as much to expedite that as we’d like to think.

I didn't think his shot selection was particularly bad. he just didn't make them.

Sadly Thiam just disappears. When his shot isn't falling early in a game his whole game falls apart and he becomes a ghost out there.

agree....Eugene and Geo just simply didnt bring it or have the composure to their game in the first half...its great they didnt quit and brought it in the 2nd half but that doesnt get the team anywhere

Gotta give some credit to Powell. If anyone watched the Kentucky game too, dude has got ice in his veins. It’s games like this where we miss Corey. Yes, we may move the ball around better now, but every great team has that one dude that can make the clutch shot. Even though you knew Corey was gonna go for that crossover stepback, when he was on point, he kept us in it when others were struggling. Geo still not there yet.

Same thing I said watching us in football against Michigan State, these kids just don't know how to win yet. They play hard and keep it close but don't have that winner/killers mentality yet

We have enough of a sample size to say that talk of Harper being shooter is vastly overblown.

just checked ... looks like a close game by the score ... sounds like RU played hard, and SHU much better ... intentionally skipped the game and checking in during the game to ensure I enjoy family time ...much better than getting yelled at and seeing a loss!

Anyone noticed powell only shoots threes from the left side of the court, and 80% of them are from the elbow extended spot? Ive watched a number of hall games and thats where he shoots from. Only there basically

There is tremendous pressure on Baker and Eugene to lead the team but their performances for entire games are up and down which have a tremendous impact on the team because of the absence of other scorers.There truly is no margin for error when the team shoots 10 for 40 in the first half and only 31 % for the game.Another winnable game because Seton Hall's shooting wasn't stellar but they had Powell with 28 points and that was the difference along with their foul shot advantage.

I think geo puts too much on himself early and gets out of sync. He needs to let things flow and play within himself.
