good effort. They have the best player on the court sadly and the 3 point shooting differential will continue to kill us.
the refs are not taking over, RU isnt hitting the shots they need to make it a game

they are not THAT much more talented. Powell yes but everyone else basically evens out, the game was winnable if the team didnt take 5-10 minutes off in this game
Went from down 17 to down 3 in the same half, I was wrong the fight is there. But Powell’s 3 right after was the dagger
Mathis, Johnson, Harper, McConnell give some reason for hope with Omeruyi, Baker and Kiss. Pikiell needs to add a shooter next year. Its like QB for football. Unless you have one you will lose.
We have enough of a sample size to say that talk of Harper being shooter is vastly overblown.
We lost this game because we couldn't consistently shoot the ball. Period.
I think talent level difference was evident.
Rutgers plays much harder. SHU plays much better. Just how I see things.
Harper was particularly out of sorts in this game...1-9...I just think he had a hard time adjusting to the level of play today..thats going to happens as freshmen, ..Montez on the other hand look comfortable
He is not a shooter. He is a passer so that helps. But they still need someone that can be counted on to consistently shoot and score. Our version of Powell.

well he's a freshman who is here to score points. We have to take misses now. Geo couldn't hit the side of the barn early in the year last year IIRC. We have to hope he develops.
