Just once. JUST FREAKING ONCE I want to see Pike get in one his players face over this crap.

I'd like to see it with the refs. They f'ing blow every game in this league.

I think Pike is really looking to develop guys and culture. We aren't near the point where we are going to beat them on their home court.

unfortunatley while we watch the freshmen progress..mainly Mathis....the other schools around the league are not just waiting around getting worse....so the issue becomes how do we get better compared to those teams..its going to be an uphill battle
Build on Mathis Harper McConnell Carter Johnson Geo EO and add Young Mulcahey plus TBD and we should be much better next season. Mulcahey and Young both bring skills we lack. People who can create off the dribble in Mulcahey and a quick guard who can score in Young

you need to bring better players than all of them in the next 2 years...can Pike do it. These are nice players and Mathis could be a legit star BUT its obvious we are way behind the rest of the league in talent. In fairness they are young but I just think they are not the explosive shooters we will need to actually make the tourney

I know it is a 30 point game, but Purdue is fouling hard on every trip.

Sorry, he's improved, but he wouldn't see the floor for any other B1G team. Baker would be a sub and nobody else on our team would see significant minutes, other than Eugene. Doorson, Mathis and Harper would be 8/9 guys at best. That's the problem - we're just not that good.
Pike does the best with what he has.
It all comes down to recruiting and if we can't get a few Jersey kids
with Big10 talent to stay home then we will continue to knock our heads against the wall.
28 years and counting...

We can't even guard their open shooters, yet they can double team us everytime we feed the post and can't get one open look. Pathetic

but this is the same repeated in every thread for 27 years...when will we have the talent.

2020 and 2021 classes are enormous and we need to add a shooter in 2019
I agree. And now that we have new facilities being built, there’s no excuses for the top kids not to come. Pike’s gotta get it going.

I'm not talking about any other team. I'm taking about Rutgers this season and McConnell should definitely be playing 20+ minutes at the point. As he makes a sick pass btw Geo can play the minutes he doesn't at point and at SG the rest of his minutes. Take kiss and Thiam minutes and give them to Caleb. Hard to see an argument against this strategy

Spot on comments that has been stated in previous seasons and there has not been any improvement versus league opponents.Fans have continued to over state the talent of Rutgers players. My biggest concern is Baker regressing in scoring .Mathis just might be the leading scorer in future games because his confidence is soaring .

Very emotional. You are wrong.

We are so easy to defend. No one can beat anyone off the dribble. As soon as it goes to the post, double team forcing the outside shot that no one can hit. Wash rinse repeat.

Never an off night this season in the B1G? Cline, I'm pretty sure we're the off night.

Disagree. All the players listed can play. We could use an elite stud but the guys mentioned are all more talented than Thiam Doorson Kiss. The freshman are all good. Young was a stud transfer not a small school reach like Kiss. Mulcahey is the real deal. The talent is definitely improving

My patience is wearing thin. This is the last season pike gets a pass. Next year there better not be any **** kickings like this. This is pathetic. We severely lack athleticism. These guys are just blowwwwwinggggg right by us and running circles around us
