Step on their throats, good that mathis has seen the ball go in, needs to play under control from here out.
The problem is that our big men never draw fouls on offense. Doorson and Johnson have 3 shot attempts at the half. Right on pace for the normal 4 shots at point blank range.
looks to me like Archie Miller's offense.. its like its all finesse with unexpected passes... but those guys cannot do it sharply enough and we see it coming and stick a hand down there and get a piece of the ball.

That announcer also bugs me. But you are right.. he tries to make everything more exciting.
Early on, EO got blocked by someone's elbow.. really bad blocked shot.. no chance.. and he says "got a piece of it". Both guys really.. they spit something out then swear by it.
I used to love how Marv Albert would call a game.. he'd make a statement.. "ball tipped out by Ewing".. when clearly he was not involved.. then he'd correct the call by saying something like "NOW they are saying the ball is off Reggie Miller:.
