Never heard an announcer say he was rooting for one of the teams beforeHow butthurt was that announcer at the end of the game though? Lmao that was so blatant it was hilarious
Four for four staying off the game thread. It's killing me but I won't change a thing.
Yes and no. I just don't want him dribbling the ball with option to pass from there. On the wings or coming off a screen for a catch and release 3.Is that another way of saying point guard?
Never heard that before.
I'd say it's 80/20 we catch the pass and convert the shot, not in our favor. Just no ability to score in close.Umm that one was a great lob pass. Myles needs to make the layup. The pass takes zero fault for that
He can't even help on the inbound at the end of games. Totally liability at that point. Why in the world is Doorson in the game???
We play 4 on 5 on offense when he is in. Why bother pick and roll with him.He can't even help on the inbound at the end of games. Totally liability at that point.
He was fair to RU though, just wasn't shitting on IU like he could have, I respect itHow butthurt was that announcer at the end of the game though? Lmao that was so blatant it was hilarious
That was maddening if play I'm thinking it is. Morgan was on him and wanted no part of fouling he was basically letting him dunk it. Need to get Myles little nastier still.Ughhh Myles make that layupppp or gather yourself and dunk it
Worse yet miss a layup at least 8 times during the game.Whenever we get the ball under the basket I'm just expecting it to get blocked now
ESPN, several years ago, had become so, so acerbic with respect to schools that weren't part of their business plan. BTN is where it should be... critical of bad plays but generally focusing on the positive and usually not piling on (but what was up with Wenzel last two games)The best part of having our own network is that they respect teams even when they have a bad game. We’ve been in that situation many times. It’s so much better when you have homer, knowledgeable league announcers rather than the guys from ESPN.

I think you missed his point completely. He wasn't rooting against Rutgers. He was rooting for the future of Indiana basketball. The one who said that, Jon Crispin is a fan of ours and he in no way intended that to be a slight toward us. He just believes that Indiana and their fans need to be patient with Archie Miller and good things will come to their program in the future. You totally misinterpreted what he was saying.Never heard an announcer say he was rooting for one of the teams before

Sorry, but I did not take it that way at all.Maybe that’s what he was going for but he was certainly not the impartial voice. He said “I’m from Indiana, I grew up watching them.” He was also basically begging for them to go on a run with about 7 min left.
He is... When they aren't playing IndianaThere have been other games where I swore Jon Crispin is a huge Rutgers fan.
