Is that another way of saying point guard?

Never heard that before.
Yes and no. I just don't want him dribbling the ball with option to pass from there. On the wings or coming off a screen for a catch and release 3.

Regardless of where he is he us too lose with ball and poor passer.

Dribble drive or foul. Step back, off the elbow, catch and shot of the screen.

Umm that one was a great lob pass. Myles needs to make the layup. The pass takes zero fault for that
I'd say it's 80/20 we catch the pass and convert the shot, not in our favor. Just no ability to score in close.

He can't even help on the inbound at the end of games. Totally liability at that point.
We play 4 on 5 on offense when he is in. Why bother pick and roll with him.

He did have a nice block in the first half

The best part of having our own network is that they respect teams even when they have a bad game. We’ve been in that situation many times. It’s so much better when you have homer, knowledgeable league announcers rather than the guys from ESPN.

ESPN, several years ago, had become so, so acerbic with respect to schools that weren't part of their business plan. BTN is where it should be... critical of bad plays but generally focusing on the positive and usually not piling on (but what was up with Wenzel last two games)

Never heard an announcer say he was rooting for one of the teams before
I think you missed his point completely. He wasn't rooting against Rutgers. He was rooting for the future of Indiana basketball. The one who said that, Jon Crispin is a fan of ours and he in no way intended that to be a slight toward us. He just believes that Indiana and their fans need to be patient with Archie Miller and good things will come to their program in the future. You totally misinterpreted what he was saying.

Maybe that’s what he was going for but he was certainly not the impartial voice. He said “I’m from Indiana, I grew up watching them.” He was also basically begging for them to go on a run with about 7 min left.

Sorry, but I did not take it that way at all.

Great win tonight. Took care of business at home. A little mo going into the big game. It will be a good measuring stick.

people are complaining about Jon Crispin, he has been more than fair and sometimes glowing about RU hoops recently

Yeah, I didn't even think twice about what Crispin said. He has been extremely supportive of Rutgers over the past two years. Give me him over Wenzel any day
