4 games in a row a team is hitting 3s “way out of their normal percentage” against us gee I wonder why. Maybe Pike’s great Defense will learn about the 3 point line some day.
what's bizzare is all these teams making crazy three % and yet still killing us on the boards. 1st half again. 13 US - 17 THEM.

Defensively we continue to get easily beat off the dribble which then requires someone to come help. Teams have figured out how to find the open man for an uncontested shot and if they can hit the open 3 we are going to have problems. We are glaringly slow footed playing man to man defense.

Offensively, you never know who is going to show up from night to night and recently more guys seem to be struggling. Akwasi is probably our most consistent guy right now. All of our bigs are struggling. You can kill MD as the problem but he was not noticeably worse than the other two. Nice to see PM hit some shots but until we get back to getting stops we don't have a chance of winning games like this.

I just want us to at least win one more road game. Is that too much to ask? Down 15 at halftime. Not great.

There are 3 things missing on this team and have been the last 5-7 games:

1. 3-pt defense
2. Myles Johnson's offense
3. Harper (did his gf break up with him? Dude is lost)

We are looking like where we were expected to be. Said it a couple times, it seems like they have peaked or are tired. No shame in any of this. Could we play better yes, but our weaknesses are being exposed. No dominant post player and no real threat from the three. Ohio State had high expectations at the start of the season, they're better than their record. We seem like we've lost confidence. That's a bad spot to be in. We're young and will definitely get better. No quit in these kids.

Something has seemed off about this team for weeks with no shows from too many major players.

That being said, havent we been down double digits in a ton of road games this year and eventually the game came down to the wire?

Ding ding ding on the defense. You got Paul and geo together getting blown by every possession and offensively three point guards who don’t mesh. Thank god Paul got those two threes.

they are not playing their game

we play a style where the margin of error is slim. You have to keep pace, we did a few earlier road games but cannot rely on holding teams scoreless for 8-10 on their home court...its a disasterour gameplan. look we came back and beat Northwestern but that does not excuse the shitshow on offense the last 6 games

its a huge issue, other teams have scouted us and Pike has yet to adjust,

Don’t want to start an argument but “not playing their game” is not just on the players. Gotta be put in a position to succeed.

Looks like Pike sending a message. Good. Would prefer for Myles to be out there instead of Carter
