4 games in a row a team is hitting 3s “way out of their normal percentage” against us gee I wonder why. Maybe Pike’s great Defense will learn about the 3 point line some day.
They lack of talent rears it’s head when the other team shoots well. They have scorers and we don’t. That’s the bottom line.
I tried to be optimistic - actually thought RU would win this game. But there is clearly something seriously wrong with this team's preparation for road games. They dog it. The old excuse that the B1G is tough on the road simply doesn't hold water to this extent. Pikiell has to look closely at what he does to prep this team for road games...
I understand the idea of allowing low percentage shots to be uncontested as an initial strategy. Most likely they miss more than they make, and if your offense is good you win the game.

There is no question when Rutgers plays away from the RAC they play with less emotion,worse defense and the same mediocre offense.Its no wonder that the team has only one road win.
