I assume Doucoure is trying to pump up the student section on FT's? If so, awesome.

Cleveland St. is really, really, really bad, shooting 28% and 0-4 from the line. Picture us under Jordan bad.

Yet hey are getting a lot of open looks. They move the ball so much better than ua they really have our defense out of position on rotation meanwhile we settle for contested shots or putbacks.

Better effort tonight against ovrrmatched team but its clear this team is going to struggle on the offensive end against better competition

Yeah I agree. They're obviously not close to being as talented but they look like a cohesive team. Maybe it's going to take some time for this team to gel together. Last year they looked cohesive right away.

When you see games like this you realize why you schedule as many OOC wins as humanly possible.

Team is playing with a lot of effort tonight. But damn they are having trouble on offense. Would help to have a legit low post option. Freeman tries hard but has a limited repertoire in the paint. He's better getting put backs and rebound type points

Corey and Freeman need to play more like leaders. This should be their year to dominate. So far not sure what they did over the summer.

Freeman was playing more away from the rim and not forcing that spin move so much end of last year. It's back. Corey's shot is so flat it hardly gets over the rim.

Assuming they round into better form as season progresses. We won't beat last year's numbers if they don't.

I think the 2 frosh are going to be good.

Halftime notes:

1. Sanders is killing us out there tonight. Bad decisions, poor shooting, sloppy ballhandling - has not improved at all

2. Duke showing an offensive game - nice!

3. Baker finally hits a three pointer - nice stroke. He also looks more in control than Sanders at guard, nice floor game.

4. CSU has great ball movement, and we seem a step behind on defense.

Strength and conditioning program did wonders for Thiam. Pins are still thin but they definitely look bigger. Even his ankles gained a something.
