One of the reasons I supported Coach Flood for way too long was because I thought he did things the right way but learned that not only was that not the case but he was sorely lacking as a coach, recruiter and leader.
Coach Ash is the real deal and the attached article helps to show why. On face value it might appear that befriending Matt Ruhle and Temple is not a good thing but I think it demonstrates the kind of thinking and approach that down the road will pay big dividends.
Recruits pay attention and at the end of the day if you can prove that you have the coaching and leadership chops to win, doing things the right way will matter.
