Well, yeah, that’s clearly part of the “weighing your pros and cons” process.

I guess what I’m saying is I wouldn’t lose any respect for a player if I found out he took steroids and got away with it.

I started weightlifting in retirement and developed a serious interest in bodybuilding. In my mind the rampant use of steroids at the professional level tarnishes the sport.

Natural bodybuilding has started to emerge. I particularly like a Canadian pro who has shown what you can do with science based training without using drugs. Absolutely no reason that can't apply to football as well.

I would hope our young linemen coming in got their start doing things the right way. But nothing surprises me anymore.

Meanwhile, we're also seeing "enhanced games", where they actually embrace PEDs. And don't get me started on transgender "athletes".
