What a game, let's go Knicks!!

Didn't even shoot well, missed a ton of open stuff, and figured out way to get it done.

Contributions from all over - Alvarado, McBride, Shamet all of them played big, nobody looked like road Finals game will be too much for them, which is often the case for the guys off the bench. Great for confidence rest of series. Mitch also with the good D in his minutes. Hart rebounded like an animal. Will need his open shots to fall in at least cple games though.

Also they got away with Kat on Wemby most of game, WITHOUT getting in foul trouble. Suspect Wemby will be crashing paint hard Friday night though, for calls. Going to need OG to D up Wemby in big minutes at some point in series.

Fox looked great in Game 7, but looked timid last night, they really need him. Champagne being targeted for his lack of D ability will be repeated you can Def see that happening.

Besides Harper their bench didn't do ****.

Their lack of an experienced point guard hopefully continues to hurt them late in pressure spots of tight games.

Link doesn't work. Great read featuring Dylan's game, and even mentions Rutgers.

NBA Finals' 6 biggest overreactions after Knicks steal Game 1

Let’s overreact to Game 1 of the NBA Finals

The Spurs blew it by not playing Dylan Harper down the stretch

Rookie guard Dylan Harper might have been San Antonio’s best player in Game 1, but…

I'll say the same thing I said when Harper was at RU. He was not a PG then, and his future in the NBA was not as a PG. With him and Ace off the ball we easily would have more than 15 games, and with a real coach.

Harper is going to start next year.

Sours should trade Fox for a backup point guard and a backup power forward: 2 for 1

Plenty of teams would love to have Fox that need a starting PG.

Dylan has played fantastic on both ends of the ball. I find that the coach has not played him enough. That said. Good to see him doing well BUT even better that the Knicks are winning !!!

I assume Dylan will have a large section at MSG there to root him on. Not too loudly though. Knick fans have waited a few years for this night.

Glad Dylan gets at least 2 more games to shine.

Despite his 1-8 night from the arc, he’s shown that he belongs and can be counted on for some key buckets (13 pts), defense, rebounding (9), assists (4) and zero (0) turnovers.

He definitely belongs and has been great, but he was missing wide open shots that almost cost them the game.
