Game is in Iowa City, so dude tried to Ricky Davis himself some double-double/triple-double action.
Call me crazy but the ‘yellow’ in these uniforms looks a lot more close to gold and I really like it. Sharp uniforms and good slight move away from ‘yellow’.
What a contrast from earlier years. Good stuff.

Its only one half of the first game, a "buy game" at that, but what a huge fricking change from the last X-amount of years of Fran-ball.

Only bad thing is the team lacks a true 5, fun to watch and Stirtz can do it all

There will be issues for sure...even Drake can't fix it all but I'm confident Ben has a plan to address that in the offseason and find a way to mitigate it this year.

Defensive effort and results are exponentially better than last year....or almost any of the past 13 years. But interior D looks like it will be a problem when we face teams with legit inside players.
Half court offense is more patient and methodical, but still looks a bit stilted. Somewhat concerning when you consider a lot of these guys have plenty of time on court together. Three-point shooting has been better than expected, and already more fast-break opportunities taken than Doodle expected, given McCollum's reputation as a slow-it-down coach.
But without question, Ol' Doodle's biggest takeaway from the first half; the thing that may be our ace in the hole this season......traveling appears to no longer be against the rules for us!!

I'm hoping its a lack of focus due to opponent and score but some of these OReb's surrendered to RMU are bit too much like watching a McCaffery team for my liking.

This new format seems to be a cluster compared to the old rivals site.
Banks has awesome athleticism and upside but makes some bad decisions. I guess on and off the court at this point.
