I had an idea of his politics based off here but it never bothered me. Thursdays I use to religiously listen to his Hawkeye Hotspot podcast with Doctherman mainly because he just let Doc talk. I remember when they were discussing Fran last season and apathy, he felt the need to downplay the program apathy and interject that it probably has to do with the new president's economy and tariffs as the reason no one was supporting the program.

You could see the awkwardness in Doc's face after that comment. I immediately fell off as a listener. I don't even think that podcasts exist anymore.

The coach is a public figure and what he has done on multiple occasions would have gotten most people fired. The guy is not a saint, but many want to paint him as one.
