I had an idea of his politics based off here but it never bothered me. Thursdays I use to religiously listen to his Hawkeye Hotspot podcast with Doctherman mainly because he just let Doc talk. I remember when they were discussing Fran last season and apathy, he felt the need to downplay the program apathy and interject that it probably has to do with the new president's economy and tariffs as the reason no one was supporting the program.

You could see the awkwardness in Doc's face after that comment. I immediately fell off as a listener. I don't even think that podcasts exist anymore.

There isn't and has never been any proof of racism in the football program. It's grievous that countless peopke like Rob don't understand the difference between being against a cultural practice and being against a race.

Harty is worse than Howe when it comes to doing podcasts. At least Howe can speak in complete and coherent sentences. Harty just rambles and interrupts himself and his guests.

Fill me in about what he wrote that was wrong. Not a fan of the guy, but he and others have stated in the past that if you did not suck up you would be out and lose access to the team. The coach is a public figure and what he has done on multiple occasions would have gotten most people fired. The guy is not a saint, but many want to paint him as one.

Apparently all those black players that speak so highly of KFz and the difference he's made in their lives are Uncle Toms. It's not hard to see what that whole episode was about. A handful of ingrates who had some growing up to do, leveraging the tone of the day.

Your statement seems irrefutable to me.

Rob Howe is one of a growing number of people who find vitally important to express themselves, even though that self expression isn’t necessarily good for them or anyone else.

Howe fell off the deep end awhile back. I don't read anything he has written because mentally he can't get past "why he is where he is" in life and wants to take it out on others. At this point he is as close to a nobody as you can get. I sincerely wish he would seek some help. This only feels like it will get worse for him.

Oh look. Another article calling someone a racist.

Yawn.

I permanently left HN years ago after Howe was pulling this race-baiting crap in threads. I told him right then and there that I was gone, and I meant it. Haven't made a single post over there since.

And this is the image of Kirk that pops up in the story.

Click or tap on it for a larger view.

Yeah, that's part of the brainwashing. Once upon a time when someone acted a fool, people were called out using the proper word. Now if someone fails to understand basic behaviors, it's chalked up to "cultural differences".
