RJ not making his teammates better is a hot take. Yes, he needs to learn when and when not to take the shot. That’s coachable.

No one is denying he made mistakes down the stretch, but come on, this is getting silly.

Tired of it as well, because its something that can DEFINITELY be remedied. K has the game tape to go over w/Barrett, and point out his flaws in the waning moments of the game. Excellent teaching moment. And I leave it to the GOAT.....

On top of that, he has Kobe and LeBron and Durant on speed dial to talk to him as well. K is not short on resources for this team.

Don’t over think it. Like you said earlier this is extremely coachable and it’s with a team and player who want to be coached.

Nope, but you can go read the article where it tells you everything the scouts said. On another note, anyone that knows basketball knows that just getting assists doesn’t mean you make others better. Russell Westbrook averages 10 ast at times but you’d be hard pressed to say he makes others better, CP3 can average the same and you clearly can see the difference.

It’s underStandable that some fans see nothing but sunshine which is why you never take a scouting report from a fan, you take it from those who have no skin in the game

So are the scouts also wrong to feel they would take him second overall, or the only thing they are wrong about is when it’s something you don’t agree with. Basically Trump logic

Nice use of a message board cliché. The old “anyone who knows the game” “good thing I don’t listen to other fans” ploy. I thought you were better than that.

I won’t try to have a conversation with you about basketball, because it would be a serious waste of time and effort. You also wouldn’t learn anything. Just know that what happened with RJ in Maui is easily correctable.

Remember, if you guys don’t make the NIT, there’s always the CBI.

If you listen or ignore it doesn’t change facts just like when Oakafor and Parker we’re coming out and scouts talked about their defense (even though they liked both) and I’m sure you said they didn’t know what they were talking about and you know more because you are a “fan”. The reality is fans are less likely to be unbiased and ignore faults by a team or player they like. I’ve done that as a fan of Zion and his handles, as a fan of Nassier Little and his feel etc.

It’s been a rough start, but he has enough talent to turn it around quickly with a more measured approach.”

I read something very similar to what you just posted. It is very true at this point of the season. The good news is we've only played 6 games.
RJ doesn't need to revamp his game, he just needs to dial it down a notch if possible. The issue I read on him is the exact opposite of the talk on Cam.

K had a few days and the game films from Maui to show them. I believe he can get what is needed out of both. They've also heard all the talking heads break their games down too. I would be more concerned if this type of play from RJ is still happening as the season goes.
It has to sting a little for him to hear what he's heard, and to watch his teammate and roommate, Zion, be awed at by the same scouts.

Just heard Seth Greenberg point out that RJ has missed more shots than Zion has even taken. I'm not trying to crap on RJ for that; I think the stat demonstrates well that Zion needs more touches.
