Just as he has done at Providence, UK, and Louisville, Pitino would win at Bama. As others have said, though, there is no way he will be coaching in D1 anytime soon due to what surely will be an imminent show cause penalty against him once the FBI and NCAA investigations are completed.

I think Pitino will consider any job the the USA, nobody thought he would come back to Kentucky to coach at Louisville either. He loves challenges even if it hurts him in the long run, I would say any rumors were a possibility.
