You are kidding, right?
You have never heard coaches talk about how many hours thy work?

In an article posted on the HuffingtonPost.com back in December of 2009 when Urban Meyer experienced his health issues at Florida, Louisville’s AD Tom Jurich made the following statement regarding how the Meyer situation made him take notice of then-new head coach Charlie Strong’s sleeping habits.
Nope. I've never heard an actual head coach say they work 90+ hours a week. Maybe many have said it, idk?

Since you make sound like it's so common for coaches to make that statement, it'd probably be pretty easy for you to provide a few examples.

Below we have 64 hours in 4 days, mix in another 10+ hours on game day. and you are at 75 in 5 days. Clearly they are "working" on Thursday and Friday too.

________

It will be a long one -- 16 hours -- which is typically the case every Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday during the season as Chryst and his staff get the Badgers ramped up for a game. This time it will be a first-ever trip to Maryland for a Big Ten Conference assignment with the Terrapins at Byrd Stadium.

Chryst, who turns 50 later this month, will take part in numerous meetings and video reviews. There will be discussions about recruiting and academics. There will be time devoted to peripheral issues like uniform designs and NFL scouting evaluations. There will be humor, sarcasm and casual banter as well.
What did Chryst say?

I don't blame anyone for being a little skeptical about the d line in their current state after that game. That being said this is the 1st game with a lot of new players who are trying to gel and we don't know how good Cincy is at this point either. IMO its crazy to think based on that 1 game that the d line is going to suck throughout the year. Same can be said about the back up running backs. We dont know what we have yet.

Is this a playoff team?
Nope, it isn't. It's a team with a ceiling of 9-3 if absolutely everything goes our way (that won't happen), and a floor of 5-7.

The Kool-Aid drinkers will continue to come up with excuses for another 6-6 finish and explain to us how "this rebuild takes time, and there aren't any better coaching options avaliable on the market right now" after Cignetti finishes with a better record than us once again at a basketball school with far less resources than we have, while filling up a stadium that has been 75% empty for the majority of its existence.

We're 1-0. Take a deep breathe, step away from the ledge, and repeat after me. "It's only week 1".

The defense played well for the most part. Held them under 100 yards passing. They won the turnover battle (2 huge turnovers, 1 at the end of each half). There was a lot more good on D than bad IMO.
No doubt that our secondary is the best that it's been in years.

Now just imagine if Rhule spent a million dollars on a proven NT instead of giving it to a walking red flag in Pritchett who just lost his starting spot in Week 2 to a guy that was already with the program. Instead we get to watch a G5 talent in Elijah Jeudy take the field every week because he's a nice guy with a cool story.

This is exactly what I mean about Rhule's ego. He thinks that he can fix everyone (players AND coaches), and then when it doesn't work out, he'll just claim that it was bad luck.

Players: Arik Gilbert, Jeff Sims, Micah Mazzccua, Isaiah Neyor, and now Elijah Pritchett

Coaches: Marcus Satterfield, Garrett McGuire, Ed Foley

If absolutely everything goes NU's way, NU is undefeated. And that won't happen. A 9-3 season is attached to a higher probability than that.
