Who is the starter now. Most coaches won't replace a starter because of injury. Practice warrior or Rookie ?

He shouldn't replace Sims due to an injury.

He can, and should, replace him due to him turning the ball over at an astronomical rate and not putting any points on the board.

Well since Sims can’t even handle a snap I don’t see how you can play him.

It won’t be because of injury, it will be because of performance. See Pip, Walley.

Now be prepared for Rhule to talk up Sims and how much he believes in him all week. He seems very committed to backing the players and taking any and all blame himself as much as possible.

If Rhule has a problem picking it’s because he is the problem. Swallow the pride and go with the clearly better QB. It’s not even close. I don’t care what he promised Jeff. He owes this team a chance to compete

Sounds like HH is the man? I will need to watch the replay of the game later.

I'm scared Rhule will play Sims because "you don't lose your job because of injury."

But HH grew so much in tonight's game. There's no telling how high his ceiling could be... but he needs the continued game experience to achieve that.

I just wish HH would get rid of that sidearm throw. Solid game by him.

Just listened to Coach Rhule’s presser. In no way did he praise HH. But I think he didn’t want to throw JSims under the bus. Smart! HH starts next week, but if Sims is healthy, they will have a RPO option for to operate.

Tommy Frazier told HH post game, "You need to learn to slide."

HH: "I don't remember you sliding. You think I can't take a hit?"

🤣👍👍

I fully expect both to play meaningful snaps next week against a bad LA Tech team. HH with the start. Breakdown the film afterwards and ride one for the rest of the year, prob HH.

I’ve been a skeptic, but having watched the game on FF just now, gotta say Haarberg today kinda reminds me of Tommie in ‘92.

Yeah he's young and dumb.
I agree with you, long term he can't and won't do that stuff. But he won over some teammates with the physicality and that count's for a lot. He'll learn.

They need to keep Sims head in the game. We will still need him at some point. It will be intertwine to see if Rhule can keep him focused and supportive, if he gets benched.
