It's a home game as well as senior night the will be honoring the 1986 and 1991 tournament teams as well as former RU goalie Kyle Kirst. I think Cali was a freshman on one of those teams.

Indeed. The 91 team. Wish I could have made it back to see the boys. Going to be an awesome day. Those 86 guys were characters. Lots of talent on that squad too.

It's warm maybe a few t'storms before the game but it should be fine for game time. Its going to be tight for me to get there as I have my own game today, but I am going to try. They held the first every Kirst Klash last week in Bridgewater. Really nice event, and my son was lucky enough to be named the Kirst recipient for his team. It meant alot to him as he knew Kyle and knows all of the boy's. Hopefully, the team comes out inspired and gets the W tonight.

Warm with t-storms on-and-off starting in a couple of hours. Accuweather showing they end around 6 but start up again around 9.

That's awesome, congrats to your son. Any award with Kyle's name attached to it is one you want.

Lots to play for tonight. I imagine the boys will be juiced with all the alums there and everything they have on the line. I hope so anyway.

fyi - Great start to RU vs PSU "weekend" as Howie Brey throws a 5-hit, complete game shutout, to lead RU to a 5-0 win the 3-game series opener. Let's keep it going guys!

Fantastic game so far! Penn St had a 6-1 lead after the first but we've scored 4-straight, including 3 in about 1:30, to cut their lead to 6-5 midway through the 2nd period.

Just needed to settle down, Alleyne get a few saves and loosen up a bit. Not a great start but they boys will fight I can promise you that.

Yea, both great. Heningburg is money tonight. Some of those shots he had against Maryland were absolutely ridiculous.

This was always going to be a game. We are going to need Alleyene to make more saves and the D needs to not give up the easy looks.

Keep winning faceoffs! Need to come out like gangbusters.

Mark Dixon, the announcer, is a buddy of mine from BMore who played at Hopkins. A side from being an announcer, he is also a B1G referee. Kinda interesting.

I know almost nothing about this sport. Was the first quarter us playing poorly, them playing well, or both?

Good grief, these quarter swings are so lopsided.

We played poorly. Like we are now. Lacrosse is very much a momentum sport.
