Coach Brecht is building something special. Our style of play is so exciting. Other teams can be down by 4 and the game is almost over. We have the heart and style to come back from deficits. The game is never over. What a win!

Big Win....Only got to see 4th as was at 2 grandsons games that I coach the younger. Alleyne came up BIG and the D played lights out. Stupid Brain Drain on the off sides and also agree on the Henningburg shot choice at the end but what a play he made stealing the clear from the goalie for a soph. Next up Ohio State whixh is another crucial game for their chance for an at large bid if dont win the BIG tourney

I am already watching the game again.

I gotta give a shout out to Chris Groel, from California. That kid was a monster on groundballs and had a very crucial assist in the second. Kid is an athlete.

Great win! I was on campus from about 5-7 pm for an industry-student mentor reception and when it was over, I drove past the Stadium and saw the scarlet lot full and was puzzled for a minute, until I saw lots of people with lax gear and then I remembered the PSU game was tonight. Better planning on my part and I might've been able to go, but it was movie night at home - did get to catch a few minutes here and there...

Damn that was an intense game.

Playing from behind and our woes on face offs had me doubting during the second half.

BUT, Henninburg's goal was mother frenching electric and Alleyne was a different player in the fourth. So many clutch saves.

My heart dropped with the off sides with 57 seconds left but we kept it together and our defense answered the bell.

Great win, the placed was packed by lacrosse standards, PSU does travel well.

Congrats to the boys, I really like the attitude of this team.

Knowledge here people.

An O the kids want to play + real conference + cool swag (and more on the way) + great academics + close to home for those who want to be close to home + close to the capital of the world for those who want such = a very, very bright future :sunglasses:

Said it earlier in the season....heads are starting to turn.

Great, great win for the team & for the program. Alleyne[sp] didn't have a great 1st half, but really stepped up in the clutch. Thought our going to zone D was a real difference maker as well. Cali, wonder what your thoughts are on that[zone].

I'm a classmate of the late, great Ron Yurcak and have been watching lacrosse a long time. That was one of the most intense, dramatic, spine tingling games and wins I've seen. RU usually finds a way to come up on the short end of games like that. Not this time. Woohoo.

Ron's wife and daughter were at the game. I believe that is them presenting the Friendship cup to the team.

Very nice win. So who qualifies for the conference tournament? Maryland, Rutgers, Hopkins and OSU? Or do a couple of slot still need to be determined next weekend?

Spots are still TBD. RU is in though. If they win the next one they should notch up not playing MD in the first round.

Our at large chances took a small hit today. Unc beat number 1 ND. With that, they are going to get a spot now.

Thanks man. You should watch a game with me! I think my neighbors heard me after after that crazy goal by Jules.

Really though, it's about the kids. I love the style they play and the heart they have. I also have some communication with some of them and am pretty close to the program. Collectively, they are just a great group of kids who work their asses off and just want to win. They make it all very easy to support.

OMG OMG...................I dont watch the important games for Rutgers(or Cornell) because when i do...its a loss. I fire up gametracker and Inside Lacrosse and peek at the score multiple times.

Henningburg poaching the goalies pass is a classic.....we are blessed with 6 good attackmen and 3 of them Bieda, Henningburg and Charalambides...make it hard for the other 3 to get playing time !!!!!
Of the 6 we only lose Bieda next year!!!!!!!!
We have enough talent on this team to be competitive for years to come!

Hats off to coach Brecht....THIS year is the year we have all dreamed of,,,,,THE breakout year !!!!!

If someone can beat Md in one of their next 2 games(OSU and HOP no easy games !)
we can tie for the B10 crown if we beat OSU....

I also want to thank the seniors, your contributions to this team are very appreciated.

I want to highlight Bieda's shot placement. He finds corners and space that doesn't look there to the naked eye.

Hopefully someone steps up next year and fills those large shoes.

The chemistry these kids have is amazing. It's going to be a tall order whoever takes Bieda's spot, but that's the interesting part of college sports.

Love it when 2 teams play an up-tempo game well. PSU's goalie was hot in the 1st while RU's goalie was hit in the 4th. Both teams were a little sloppy in their backside D which produced a lot of the goals.

As long as one of the surefire schools for the NCAAs (Denver, ND, Brown) doesn't get upset in their league championships I think RU gets an at-large if they make the B1G finals .
